I didn't get one. I waited and waited to get one, but I didn't. Am I not supposed to get a e-mail about it?

Not sure. The admin has been gone for a while, and I joined before Proboards had activation codes.

Any other proboard place I joined, I got an activation code for it though. I didn't get one when I joined this place.

I got an email w/ the activation code. When I got it, it told me to click on it to activate my account.

I don't know what to say. You do need one so you can login but since you are logging in, I guess you don't need an activation code. Maybe your email is preventing the email for the activation code from being sent to you. It's probably identifying it as spam.
