Tie between Reynolds and Sheen. Are ties allowed? They both did a fabulous job at bringing Charlie Barkin to life. Burt did his part by showing that Charlie was a bad boy and sneaky, and basically New Orleans most wanted. But Sheen did his part by showing Charlie was a slick and smooth ladies hound, full of himself at times and also, that he had a very good heart and his intentions seemed cunning but he stuck through till the end. (Reynolds also showed this)

I'd vote for all 3 of them. Reynolds was perfect for the Barkin in the 1st movie because he had that conman look and voice. Sheen was the right one for him in 2 because he chases the ladies and smooths talks them like he does in 2 1/2 Men. Weber was okay because he starred in comedy shows like Wings though I wish Sheen was in the series and Christmas special.

Any of them did for me. Charlie isn't a big favourite of mine, but I did like his gambling personality and what not. But any of them did for me.

I have to agree with Vixen, any of them did for me. They all made good Charlie's.

I think that each actor was perfect for the Charlie being portrayed.
Burt was best at the darker, more of a conman Charlie. Him perfectly saying each deceptive line, superb.
Charlie was best for the thingyy, bored, looking for something new Charlie. He had the "it's okay to care" revelation from the first film, but put in that tiny bit of sarcasm
Steven was best for the laid back, taking it easy Charlie the Series tried to show. Choosing wit over brain, and not really giving a care most of the time.
But as far as a total character, Burt fit the best.

I say that all 3 were the best. Reynolds had that con artist figure, Sheen had the ladies man style like he did in 2 1/2 Men, and Webber for his comedic style.

All of them were great, but I guess Burt Reynolds was the best.

Burt MADE Charlie. His voice plus Charlie's wit was PERFECT

Weber made Charlie seem goofy. Sheen made him seem like a wannabe. (No offense to fans).
Reynolds gave the character more soul.
