Wonderdog, that is unrelated to the discussion too. Please take it elsewhere. Um, I think your missing my basic point here. I am talking about Charlie. Talking about: How his looks aren't the same in this episode than in the frist, and this was before anything happened in the frist movie. Also, how his voice is different. Jusy saying that, Charlie is too different and out of sync with the frist movie, in that particluar episode. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I might have typed it out wrong.

You are right Miss Wonderdog. I watched the episode last night on youtube and I have noticed some big mistakes. One, the time and place settings are wrong. The episode should have taken place in New Orleans in the 1930s instead of San Francisco in the 1990s. Charlie should have been hanging out w/ Carface and Killer instead. Very good. That is what needs to be shown in ADGTH 4 if we can convince MGM.

Ah, righto, but from my understanding, this is more on the discussion of voice actors than about the character Charlie himself. People can go on all day about how inconsistant the series is and how it lost it's touch from the original movie.

I just ignore the design and voice changes. Geesh, his fur color changes to three different tones during the series. I just imagine him with his original design/voice, it's part of what made Charlie who he is.
I can understand them not being able to bring back Reynolds, but many of the decisions taken story and character wise for the second movie and series a very questionable. The time flow between the movies is probly the best example. The episodes "Charlie the Human" and "When Hairy met Silly". Also Charlie's decisions during the latter half of the movie..I totally accept (and enjoy) seeing Charlie back to some of his old ways (to me it just seems natural), but I can't see the mutt who gave up his life for a little girl do the retarted thing we see when the horn is traded for a collar. <_<
Kinda Offtopic:
And someone mentioned Annabelle and her wings....yet no one mentions what my biggest complaint was while seeing the heaven scene of the second movie. The freaking, reatarted tiny wings..they make no sense. But yeah, back to Annabelle. In the first one she seemed as more of a greeter angel, she probly got promoted to Archangel status during the transition from the first film to the second..not that hard to think about.
