Dante ran in tow with Don, looking annoyed as ever. "Four miles!", said Dante, approaching Jack. "I chased your old man for four miles! That Belladonna didn't even show up! I ran around in a blizzard for nothing." Dante crashed down on the snowy ground and stretched out his paws, watching everyone leave. "Yes Merry Christmas", said Dante, as each dog left. When Don complained about Britany leaving he huffed. "Well if you hadn't been so worked up over Belladonna", said Dante. "Then maybe you could've talked to her. And the thing with Nicky. You could've talked to her then instead of throwing her out in the middle of a moving car". Dante watched Britany leave and yelled a 'Merry Christmas at her before she became out of sight. "I'm guessing Curtis is staying here after I flung him through your glass door", said Dante. "Guess I'm staying here too".

"Alrighty then. You'll sleep with the rest of us in the garage. There is a spare basket around there somewhere, I'll get it" Don said. He ran in. Soon there was cluttering as crashes from the garage. "FOUND IT!" he called. He walked back out. "Uh... sorry bout the four miles thing. I tend to have a bit of frost think." "Yea, and he goes MAAAAAAAD!" Jack said, putting on a hypnotic tone for "mad". "Thats enough now Jack" Don yawned. "We're having our pals over for prezzie's tomorrow anyway. Have you wrapped them son?" Jack opened his mouth but no words came out. He ran away into the garage. Five minutes there was sounds of ripping paper, tape flying everywhere and Jack's desperate yelps of panic and distress. Don chuckled slightly. "Ah, that pup! He gets himself into all sorts of trouble, really!" Don laughed. He remembered lots of stupid incidents Jack hyad been in, in the past. "He's a magnet to it, really."
Britany walked downtown, watching kids go into bed, in hope of presents. She smiled at them all, noticing Toby's house. The boy who took Soapy in. She wondered where Soapy was sleeping? Outside? Garage? Inside? Britany deicded to take a sneaky look inside. What if she's not home though?! "Is this wise?" she muttered, opening the gate silently. "Soapy will kill me if I get caught!" Britany scrurried over to the nearest window and took a look inside. How cosy it looked! Those sofa's and mats could really be a dog's paradise. "Maybe it isn't so bad being a house dog... just too bad I'm a stray" Britany said quietly to herself.

Dante gave Don a look like he was crazy when he mentioned Dante sleeping in a basket. "Brotha", said Dante. "Don't you think I'd-" Dante groaned when he was cut off by Don running to get the basket. When he came back Dante nodded at his apology and smiled at Jack with his hypnotic tone. "Oh ho I know Jack", said Dante, chuckling. "I knew your dad before you were born and trust me....this isn't the first time he's gone mad." Dante's eyes lit up when Don mentioned presents the next day. "I better get some", said Dante. "What'd you get m-?" Dante was once again cut off by Jack who darted into the garage. He watched in distress as paper and tape flew everywhere. He looked at Don and chuckled at his comment about Jack. "He's just like his father", said Dante, more to Don than himself. He stood up and smirked at Don before taking off towards the garage, being bombarded with paper and tape and chew toys. "Jack!", said Dante. "Calm down brotha. We have to sleep here tonight. And don't worry I'm not looking.....it's raining er....snowing paper and tape. I can't even see YOU". Dante suddenly saw a roll of masking tape hurl right towards him. Before he could move out of the way it slipped itself around his muzzle. "Thass it", said Dante, barely able to talk because of the roll. "Donny, calm him down!" Dante shook his head violently and soon the roll slipped off, landing on Don's head. Dante looked oer and walked over for a closer inspection. "The angel look just doesn't suit ya Donny", said Dante, not the least bit concerned he had just hit Don with the tape. "I see horns on you, as well as myself." He grabbed the tape off Don's head and dropped it in the snow. "Jack your tape!", Dante called, holding it out with his paw.
Meanwhile Soapy was curled up in front of the fireplace in Toby's house, sleeping on a cozy bed while Toby pet her. He smiled at her and lay her head on his leg. "Look at her mom", said Toby, just as his mom walked in the living room. "She's so cozy. And we can't have her freeze. Its cold outside and she's so thin. Can we please take her in? Things haven't been the same since Bruce died". Bruce was Toby's old dog who had sadly died the same time Soapy's house caught on fire. Toby's mother looked at him and sighed, "We'll see Toby", said his mom. "She's going to be a lot of work. Vet bills, food, we aren't talking about a shelter dog here. Soapy's a stray." "I'll take care of her", said Toby. "Of everything. I'll pay for everything too". "What about that new skateboard you've been saving up for?", asked his mom. "Oh mom", Toby moaned. "You probably have it under the tree. Plus, blowing my money on something that can be replaced is stupid. Soapy's one of those once in a lifetime offers". He gave Soapy a back stroke and she stretched out more in her sleep. "We'll see in the morning Toby", said his mom. Toby sighed and then got up, lying Soapy's head gently on the pillow and stoked the fire a little. "Come to bed Toby", said his mom. "It's late." Toby nodded. "I'm coming". He shut the lights off in the kitchen and living room, just leaving the glow of the fire as the only light before he walked upstairs with his mom, leaving Soapy curled up o the pillow in front of the fire place, sound asleep.

"Naw! I'm packing plastic!" Jack said, swirling around, blinded by tape and chasing his tail frantically. "Naw, your taking stupid now son" Don said, taking the tape off him then trotting. "Stop listening to Lily Allen." Don grabbed the tape firmly in his teeth, and pulled at it. No luck. He let it go and snarled. "Thats some sticky tape!" he said. Just hen T.J ran in, and caught sight of Jack wearing the tape. he chuckled to himself. "Oh my... Jack, thats not unusual for you" he said, grabbing the black collar around the young collie's neck and took the tape off him. "You guys better get to sleep if wanna see presents for you." "Great... even T.J treats me like I'm three weeks old!" Jack growled, taking the last bit of tape off his paw. T.J ruffled his tufts playfully then walked out. Jack shook off the wrapping paper. "AH! I've gone blind!" Don screamed, as one of the piece's covered his eyes. Don took it off, only to see he HAD'NT gone blind. "O-oh... I'm ok... I can SEE!" he said, flinging the paper down on the ground. "I knew that..." Jack laughed his head off. "HA! You sounded so STUPID dad!" he said, between hysterical laughs. "Don't push my son..." Don said. "I'm never trusting you to wrap these again!" Don took the presents and pushed the pile into the a door in the side of the garage. "I don't get it dad, why did they put a human bathroom in the GARAGE?!" Jack said. Don shrugged. "People... pfft... thier strange sometimes" Don said, coming out. "As long as thier hidden. You get into bed son." Jack shrugged and climbed into the basket closets to the garage fireplace. Considering T.J and his family were loaded, the had placed a fireplace for thier dogs in the garage. Christy offered to wrap up the presents, considering she was best at it. Don clambered into his own basket and suddenly dozed off immediantly.
Britany looked at Soapy, all cooped up and warm. She sighed. She did look nice and cosy lying there. She reared up and leaned her paws against the ledge, peering in. She knew she wouldn't be seeing much of Soapy much longer if she kept hanging with Alex and the rest of the strays. She sighed and kept looking on. She could picture her own luxery life, lying beside a fire, getting stroked and petted by a lovely little kid and being loved. being fed decent meals and getting out of the cold. Surely Britany would die young if she stayed a stray, because of the cold and the scratch of food. She closed her eyes and then thought about how life would be as a forever stray. She saw herself as a scrawny piece of nothing, fighting over a scrappy piece of meat... maybe even lettuce! Fighting for the cosiet spot in being a stray... behind the dumpster. Fighting for a death spot. A spot to just curl up and die. A place where dogs like her die, cold and alone. A place where the only sound is your own faint and dying breathing. A place where you'll rot up. Thinking of this made the setter wish she wasn't a stray. She knew Alex lived in a cosy apartment now days, with some other dogs. They can fool any human, and often steal stuff from supermarkets and homes for survival. Alex was strong enough to stay alive his whole life being a stray. Britany didn't want to leave her spot where she was now. Looking helplessy into a window. She snow feel upon her soft brown fur and yet, she didn't budge. "What a nice thing to have! A lovely home, where you can be loved! Where you can feel welcome!" Britany said to herself. "And all this time I thought having a home was spoiling, boring and stupid! I'M stupid, just for thinking that! What, did I honestly think strays have it easy?!" She didn't leave, but she curled up underneath the window ledge, all by herself. When she wakes up tomorrow morning, it'll be the same old life. Maybe one or two presents from Don, but thats it. And they (as in Don's family) get ALOT of presents on Chrsitmas. But she'll wake up, with nothing but the roads, the snow, the cold and the loneliness which always greeted her, but she was being a shallow stray to be able to see that along time agao. Dante rolled his eyes at the others, wanting to say something snarky but just yawned instead. He walked over to the fireplace and curled up next to Don on the surprisingly warm concrete floor and started to doze off. What a night, Date thought before slipping into sleep. Soapy didn't wake up till early the next morning, feeling like a new dog. She hadn't slept that well in ages. She knew it was early but she was used to getting up early to find a suitable breakfast for herself. It took her a few minutes to realize where she was then smiled when she saw she was still in Toby's house. Toby was still asleep and so was Maria but Soapy heard clinking around in the kitchen. She gave a long stretch and yawn before trotting into the kitchen. There stood Toby's mom, making a cup of tea. Soapy walked over to her, wagging her tail a little. "Well hello there", said Toby's mom, petting Soapy's head. Soapy lifted her head and licked Toby's mom's fingers. She smiled at Soapy, continuing to pet her. "You really are a sweet girl", said Toby's mom. "Maybe....ah never mind. You probably have to go outside." Soapy wondered what his mom was about to say but brushed it off when his mom got up to open the back door. Soapy walked towards the door, the cold air stinging her lithe body. Toby's mom closed the door behind Soapy, leaving her alone in a huge yard. Soapy looked around and walked over to a spot where she did her business. When she was finished she ran around the yard, leaping and jumping into the wind, her body at least halfway in the snow. Something made Soapy stop though. She sniffed the air and caught Britany's scent. She wondered why Britany would be around here. She thought it was an old scent from when Britany had walked home the night before, but it was fresh, like she was right in front of her. Soapy ran over to a wooden gate which was half open and walked out into the front yard. She looked around and sniffed the air. Britany was close. Soapy could almost taste her. She walked further into the front yard and looked around, gasping when she saw a small pile beneath one of the windows. It was a small pile of snow but Soapy knew Britany was in there. She ran up the slippery porch and ran over to the pile where she dug away the snow, careful not to hurt her friend. Once Soapy saw that ginger coat she gasped and kept digging until Britany was fully out of the pile. "Britany!", Soapy called. "Britany wake up! Please wake up!" Soapy felt her eyes tear when she got no response and nudged her friend. "Come on Britany!", Soapy gave her a hard nudge and bit softly on her frozen ear. "We have to get you inside to warm up. You'll die out here". (OOC-Wow Wonder! Never knew you had long posts in you. LOL. Just kidding. Poor Britany! Good thing Soapy found her!)

Britany was having a funny as in wierd sort of dream. So wierd, in fact, it was almost killing her soul seeing it. Thousands of strays, waiting in turn to be slayed, to be killed to be- She heard someone call her name. She was next. She looked into a firey room, and gulped when she saw a large sythe, freshly made for her. She walked in and- wait a minute... this person sounded alot like Soapy. Calling her name over and over again. She looked behind her and... Britany woke up. Almost in shoack and in terror. Frist she saw Soapy's body, then her head, looking over her. "So you've found me..." Britany said. Her voice was breaking up, more slower and more or less sounded like a creaking floor than her own clear voice. She let out a rough cough and tried to get up, and banged her head against the window ledge. "Ouch! That hurt!" Britany said, collasping back onto the snow. "Aw well... if its my turn to go, its my turn to go." She let out another cough and curled her tail around her. "Its the way of life." Drops of icy water dripped down onto the cold, freezing, brown fur. The temperature had defiantly dropped from yesterday night. Britany let out a sneeze afterwards. "ALL strays get swooped away sooner or later, either from starvation or the freezing weather, or the violence. Strays never win, right?" Britany said, looking up at Soapy, as clear as she could. "Besides, think about it. If my mother HADN'T have got killed by whoever killed her, she would die anyway, what with the cold and lack of food. And me and Dale would die too because mother wouldn't get food for us, if I hadn't been found by Scott and Ginger." Curling her tail tighter around her, she began to think over her mothers personality. She barely got to stay three weeks with her, but her mother was a lovely person. So polite, so lovely. She didn't deserve a cruel death like she had. That was HER that deserved a cruel death like that. She had done alot of sins, Britany as in. She had fought, been stubborn, hadn't been the best doggie around, had once been a crook to the non-strays. "Well, what can you do to keep me warm? I've nowhere to go. Alex's crowd, apart from Alex of course, won't accept a girl in it, and thier all Spainish, so what can I do?" Britany added afterwards. "HEY DANTE! WAKE UP!" Jack said, pushing Dante from his spot where he was sleeping. "Aw let him sleep son" Don said, getting up with a yawn. "Aw dad! We need to give him his prezzie! That awesome... a-hem... spiked paw collar we got him... is awesome!" Jack said. "If he doesn't like it, I'll take it!" "Hey, Danty! Buenos días!" Alex chirruped in, who trotted in through the door. "Hi Alex!" Jack said, exictedly. "Hola, little buddie!" Alex said, with a grin. "Sorry, came presentless!" "Awwwwww... then get out!" jack said, jokingly. Alex frowned. "Ok. Adiós" Alex said, turning. "NO! I didn't mean it!" Jack said. Alex twriled and grabbed jack into a neck-lock, giving him a friendly ruffle. "GOT'CHA!" Alex laughed. He let Jack go, and gave Don a nod. "Don, hola. ¿Cómo estás? How are you?" Alex said. "Fine. Still waiting on Dante to wake up, the lazy stooch!" Don laughed, looking at the sleeping doberman. (OOC-Oh, then your in for a surprise! Sorry, this took me FOREVER to type, I had to look up the Spanish language for Alex! Buenos días means "Good Morning" in case you didn't know. Yea, Britany's being a pestimistic.

Soapy sighed when she saw her friend wake up but was concerned about what she was talking about. Death, her mother, all the things that made Britany sad. Soapy looked at Britany sadly and walked around her, laying gently on her shivering body to keep her warm. Soapy licked the top of her head and nuzzled her gently. "Please don't say that Britany", said Soapy. "And you're only a year older than me. Who said anything about dying?" Soapy sighed and continued to lick Britany head where she hit it. "Are you ok?", Soapy asked. "You won't die, trust me. If Scott and Ginger made it this far then you will too. And I want you to come inside the house with me if you can move. You'll freeze to death out here." Soapy got up off of Britany and shook herself, walking over to the front door, scratching at it. "Just wait", said Soapy. Soon the door opened and Toby stood there. "Good morning Soapy", said Toby. "Merry Christmas". Soapy wagged her tail a little then pulled Toby outside by his shirt sleeve. "Woah easy girl", said Toby, trying to catch up. "What's the rush?" Soapy pulled him over to where Britany lay and Toby's eyes went wide. "Oh no", said Toby. "Is this one of your friends?" Soapy leaped around and barked. Soon Toby's mom came to the door asking what was wrong. When she saw Britany she gasped. "Mom go get a pillow and blanket", said Toby. "She's one of Soapys friends. We have to help her." Toby's mom ran inside and told a very confused Maria to get a pillow and blanket. She ran up the stairs and Toby kneeled down next to Britany, gently stroking her. "Easy girl", Toby soothed. "I wont hurt you". Soapy looked at Toby then at Britany. "Whatever he does don't bite him", said Soapy. "He'll just be trying to help." "Let's get you inside", Toby said, looking at Britany. He took a deep breath then gently picked Britany up and carried her inside where Maria was setting up the pillow and blanket near the fire. "It's okay Britany", said Soapy, following. "I promise he wont hurt you". Maria closed the door behiind Toby and Soapy and looked worriedly at Britany. "Is she gonna be okay?", asked Maria. "She's just cold Mia", said Toby, walking over to the fireplace. He gently layed Britany on the pillow and covered her with the blanket. He started stroking her to get the blood moving and tucked the blanket tightly around her then got up and went in the kitchen. "There now", said Soapy. "It's gonna be okay Brit". Toby returned a few minutes later with a bowls of fresh water and food. He put them in front of Soapy and Britany and stepped back. Soapy picked up a piece of chicken from Britany's bowl and layed it in front of her friend, laying on her own pillow. "Go on Britany", said Soapy. "You have to eat." Soapy, Maria, and Toby watched Britany, praying that she'd be okay. Dont take her yet Annabelle, thought Soapy. Please make her ok.
(OOC- Not too happy with this. T'was rushed. And I actually know Spanish (not fluently. I used to be able to be bilingual with it now I' losing my touch) from taking it in school. Bleh. But yay! I'm a senior this year. Just this year then college ho! lol. The way Britany's acting reminds me before my dog Mitzi died. She had a stroke last April and we had to put her to sleep. I'm still a little sad but now I have Miley (who I shortly got after Mitzi died because I was a complete zombie and wouldn't talk, eat, or sleep for like, a week. Miley's a year old now.) and the wound is almost healed. Gonna leave a huge scar though. Also, the reason I didn't post for Dante is because I think we should focus on Soapy and Britany for now. If that's ok. )

Britany gave a smile atn Soapy then licked Toby's hand for a thanks. "Ah, you see, you've got it wrong Soapy" Britany said, licking at her water frist. "Scott and Ginger are big and strong, and thier also crooks, toughests strays to ever walk New Orleans, apart from Alex's group. I'm not half as good as them, I will defiantly die if I stay out there much longer. Most strays die when thier around my age." She ate a bit, but her stomach was too frozen to eat very much. When she breathed in, some warm air came in, but her lungs felt like they were made from clear ice, so it didn't actually help. "Its very nice here, your quite lucky. I would sell my life for a house to live in" Britany said, looking around. "Espicailly with a kid like yours, one that absoultly loves dogs. It would be nice. Infact, it would be heaven. I don't care about the strays creed anymore! Let them ban me from the alleyway dogs!" Britany looked at the tree longily. "My mother used to tell me stories about Christmas. The one that always catches me is the San Fracsisco one..." Britany said, without taking her gaze off the tree. She knew her mothers song. It was defiantly "Can you feel the love tonight?" because she remembered how her mother always sang it to her and Dale when they were younger. Britany then focused one the fire, while the track of "Can you feel the love tonight?" playing through her head. She could see it now. I beautiful sight, wonderful pink clouds with a pinkish orange background while the intro of the song plays softly. And then her mothers voice singing out the start. The choir of angels singing the backgrounds, that fitted perfectly with her mothers vioce, which was too rich and pure to be drowned by the choirs heavenly voices. Soon, Britany snapped out of it, and looked out just to see an open door to the hallway. She could have sworn she was dead and it was all real! Oh why?! Why wasn't it real? Why can't she see it for herself? Was it all just some image?! Britany sighed and ate some more. It was a bit easier now, thinking about how happy her mother could be, safe in Annabelle's paws. It made her own heart happy, and her mother would defiantly be happy seeing her daughter have a cosy home. "I would really love a home" Britany said.

(gah...soaps you should've told me you were posting again...i'll try to catch up. gonna be way short though)
Nicky gave off a small sigh and he smiled and Mouthed back the words "I Love you too" to soapy. He Turned to Recks and nudged him. "I see someone likes you...guess we'll have to catch up to our girls in the morning. Lets go back to my place, but i warn you, it's kinda a dump except for the vinyl waterbed in the Van." He said as he turned around and headed down the street. Recks followed Nicky. "Oh Really? Sounds like my place isnt the most rundown anymore." He said with a chuckle. He trailed close behind Nicky. After a Few blocks of walking. The Canines finally approach a small allyway. Nicky walked down it with Recks following behind him. They exit the small alleyway into a small lot, which had a couple of hubcaps here and there, along with rims. Parked next to each other was both an old red 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, which was up on cinderblocks and was missing a mirror, other from that which was perfect, and an old '90s Custom Chevy Van, which was only on it's rims. Nicky Walked over to the Van and opened the rear door. "Make Yourself at home." He said to Recks, which when was said Recks jumped onto the Waterbed. The Bed Jiggled around a bit before calming. Inside the van, besides the water bed, was a small Moderately working Mini-fridge, which filled the air with a humming noise as soon as Nicky turned on a small switch, turning on the battery. The walls were lined with a Fuzzy Material, and the front seats were made from a Vinyl tyoe material also. Recks Looked around before looking at Nicky. "So, can i sleep here?" He asked with a smile. Nicky nodded. "Of Course, this is mainly the guest Bedroom. That is until i get my mate to move in here." He said with a smirk. "well, Enjoy the night, i'm heading off to bed." He said, heading over to the Charger and hopping in through the side window, right into the backseat. He took off everything and layed it on the floor neatly before curling up in the backseat. Recks did the same and curled up also. They Both soon difted to sleep.
The Next Day, Nicky was the first to Awake. He yawned and uncurled his body before stretching. He got his clotches back on before hopping out of the car. He walked over to a small patch of grass near the Van and starting doing some of his Morning Exercises. Recks soon awoken to the noise and peeked his head out of the Van. "You Still Do all of the morning exercises?" He asked. Nicky looked over and Nodded. "Yep. Do You?" He asked in return. Recks nodded before pulling his head back in and putting all of his clothes back on. He walked over to Nicky and Joined him. After The Morning exercises They both headed out. "Time to find my Mate, as well as your soon-to-be girlfriend." He said with a chuckle. He sniffed the cold morning air., Searching For Soapy's scent. Recks smirked. "So you were paying attention" He said. Nicky Soon picked up the scent and they walked off in the direction of the scent. (or not...wow, Uber long. lol)

(OOC~WOW NICKY! Long post from you Nice to see your alive! Now, all we need is our one-that-holds-it-all-together Soapy! Sniffing out the German Shepards scent, Alex woke up, feeling intruded. He bumped into Ledio while he stretched out. "Alex! Watch it!" Ledio growled. Alex laughed a long Spainish laugh and just walked out of the small, greasy, broken apartment. He felt the air hit his face and inhaled the frsh air of Christmas. Muttering something in Spainish, he leapt down the metal stairs, careful not to slip. He reached the bottem safely. "HA HA! Still got that crookery training in me!" he laughed. "Once a bad dog, always a bad dog!" He sniffed out a turkey and his mouth watered as he saw a fresh turkey. "Sweet Annabelle above! That is defiantly once turkey a guy can be thankful for!" He ran over, and then slowed down as he met with the gate and sneaked in. The turkey was stupidly sitting on a window sill, which was open. Alex quickly swiped the turkey in his jaws and ran off, with a smirk. He heard a polish female voice scream after him. Alex didn't stop though. Tossing the turkey onto then ground, he took large ravaging snarly bites. Then that German Shepard sense was back! "Nicky..." he muttered. licking the last bit of meat of the bones of the turkey. He got up, quite stuffed, and wandered over to the road, where he say Nicky and Recks walk along the road. Backing into a darkened alley-way, Alex was completly covered by darkness, but his golden eyes peirced through the shadows.

Toby and Maria smiled softly and got up to go into the kitchen to eat breakfast. Soapy watched them leave then looked over at Britany. She seemed to be in some sort of daze. "Britany?", said Soapy. "Britany you okay?" No sooner had her friend entered the daze she came right back out of it a few minutes later. Soapy remembered Jason telling her something like this. That when you either got really hot or really cold you'd start to see things and going into dazes. Soapy stayed silent after a little while, pretending her pieces of chicken were intresting. After a few minutes Soapy looked up at her friend and thingyed her head. "Are you feeling any better Britany?", asked Soapy. "And what did you just see? You looked.....scared." Meanwhile Dante had finally woken up and started prancing in the snow, looking around. "Hey Donny", said Dante. "Merry Christmas! Where's Alex? I smell him....but I don't see him." Without waiting for an answer Dante took down the street and sniffed Alex out. He caught his friend's scent in an alleyway. Without being noticed, Dante snuck under a beaten up old car then leaped carefully on a few car hoods, landing right behind Alex. Dante grinned evilly and stifled a laugh as he put his muzzle against Alex's ear. "Boo!", said Dante. (OOC-Sorry its so short and dumb. It was rushed. Sorry I disappeared out of nowhere. I have a boyfriend so I've been spending a lot of time with him and my best friend Matt. Also, I've been really busy with other stuff. I've been pulling all nighters working on my comic and a story that my boyfriend and I are writing together. So yea, I might disappear again but no worries. Hopefully it won't be for long. I always disappear here and there. I've rarely been on the comp actually. And Pe-shaw Wonder. dont make me blush. But yea, Soapy kinda keeps the peace between her friends. Kinda like me IRL. I'm not only the leader of my small group but also the peace keeper. )

Britany heard Soapy's voice and the clouds disappeared and the door was visable again, and then she saw Soapy. "Oh! I see... sorry about that..." Britany muttered, taking more food. She felt a question bubble up in her stomach. She sighed and looked up, moving her ice blocks arms and legs at last. "Hey Soapy.... its a stupid question but... do you think... I dunno... all dogs go to heaven?" Britany asked. She had heard rumours, that even the filthiest dogs go to heaven, but she had never beleived it. Then... a flash back! ******************** "When you find yourself at an early death, my pup, you will remember these words" Terri said. Britany stared up at her mother in confusion. "What words?" "Just remember" Terri answered, licking Britany's fur. "That no matter what, all dogs go to heaven."******************** Snapping back to reality, Britany started on her food again, trying not to think back to the past again. "Um.... your very lucky to have a nice home Soapy..." Alex heard someone come up behind him, but he didn't move. He's not giving the gamea way just yet. Then... "YAHHHHHH!" Alex yelped, as something whispered in his ear. He looked around to see Dante and he growled. "What was that for?!" he ordered. "What, you wanna gimmi a heart attack or something?!" (OOC-Oh, I thought it was school stuff Good for you, Soapy!)

For some reason, when Britany came out of her trance Soapy felt that not all was well with her friend. She felt worried about Britany and what she could've seen while she was in the trance. Soapy shook her head and looked at Britany to hear her question. Soapy sighed. "Well", said Soapy. "I think all animals go to heaven. See people, when they're bad they usually have no control over what they do. With us it's different. We kill and fight for good reasons. And although I cant say that much on Dante's part, I mean, I don't know. It's just....animals are considered innocent because what they do is usually because of a reason. Not just murder for hating someone like humans. If that makes sense." Soapy sighed and stood up, dragging her blanket over Britany's cold body. "Are you feeling any better, Britany?", Soapy asked with concern. "I'm glad I found you when I did. You could've died." Soapy gave Britany a nuzzle and pulled back when Britany spoke of Soapy being lucky to have a home. "Britany", said Soapy. "I think....maybe you deserve a home. This home. I mean, at least I had Jason. You were born a stray. I think it would be better if you stayed. Toby seems to like you and...." Soapy was cut off by a gleeful scream from Toby. She shot her head up and saw Toby running towards her then grabbing hold of her into a hug. "Mom said I can keep you girl!", said Toby. Soapy panted happily then looked over at Britany and whimpered softly. Toby looked over at Britany and petted her head. "Oh yeah", said Toby. "Your friend needs a home too. Maybe we can find her one or she can stay here. She's in no rush to leave." Despite Toby wanting to keep Britany too, something in Soapy's heart told her that if Britany stayed, Soapy would have to leave. Soapy didn't mind sharing but still, it seemed that Britany needed a home more than Soapy did. At least Soapy HAD a home in the past. Britany was always a stray. She never felt the love of a human before.

"I guess, we do kinda kill and fight for good reasons... but Alex is... well... he was in the dogfights, and well... he didn't fight for GOOD reasons, but he's my friend!" Britany said. Thinking of joining Belladonna made the setter shudder. "Yes, I'm feeling alot better now, I think" Britany said, after Soapy asked her. "Thanks for asking." Britany listened to Soapy when she said Britany "deserved" a home. "Aw, I don't deserve a home at all, I've been a bad dog. I've bit, fought, even killed but that was an accident. Well... it wasn't a dog... it was a rabbit... I guess it wasn't an accident after all..." Britany laughed. Britany watched Toby run in and announce he could keep Soapy and give her a hug. She smiled at her friend in congratulations. Good for Soapy! She was happy for. Then Soapy whined. Britany looked confused as Toby petted her head. "I'm in no rush to leave? You got that right, buddy boy, I'm not! Its not as if T.J will take me in when he has three dogs already!, Britany thought. I could stay here forever! But that'll never happen, will it? Britany began to wonder deeply. Who would take a scruffy, outlawed, stray setter like her?! No one, thats who. Oh well.... theres always the pound... the stuffy, cold, scary, dark pound. Hopeful dogs watching a kid in hope to go home with them. Britany wondered what it would be like to have a human love her. Good or bad? According to Dante it was bad, but according to Soapy it was good. Now the question is, whos right?! What about Don's point of view. He's half and half. He hangs with alot of dirty strays for a rich dog... Britany just smiled at Toby. Oh well, as long as she's here now... then a farmilar scent came up, and she sniffed out two dogs. She was too weak to get up and check herself, so she asked Soapy over. "Is it me, or can you sniff Nicky and Recks?" she asked. Then a danger smell wafted in, that Alex was near.
And he was. Alex was quite near, after wriggling is way away from Dante and followed Nicky and Recks all the way there. He was now hiding behind a couple of dustbins. Big mistake, because they belonged to an old cat lover. And she came out with a massive broom. "Oh no...." Alex muttered. She took a swip at the mutt, but Alex dodged, cursing in Spainish. "Yesh Lady, whats your problem?! Whoa... whoa, put the brush down!" he barked. but the bursh came dopwn again, but the mutt dodged again, and ran out onto the street, followed by the syco women. Alex leapt over Nicky and Recks and zoomed around and then took a flying leap and grabbed the broom in his jaws and snarled. The women ran away, so Alex turned around, forgetting the broom was in his mouth and knocked a large dog on the head, who was behind him. "Oops... sorry there..." Alex said, dropping the broom. "Hey! I regonize you!" "Do you?!" the dog growled, getting up to form the shape of Don. "Why don't I JAM your memory a bit?!" and striked Alex on the head. Alex fall back, muttering curses in Spainish. "What was that for, amigo?!" Alex ordered. "For being an idiot, and- Nicky?! What you doing here?!" Don said, regonizing the german sheperd from behind the collie mix.
