(Lol Yes we do start) The sky was black upon the once bustleing San Francisco, the once sunlit alleyways were cold and dreary, and painted with the aura of fear and dismay. The smell in the air meant it was going to rain, but nowadays thats what the weather was all the time, relentlessly pouring. A lone German shepherd stands on a rooftop, his face completely covered in a black hood, wearing a sort of trenchcoat that reached down to his ankles, wearing black leather boots. He gripped the edge of the roof in a crouched position, watching out for the various apparations and demonic entities that now covet these once abundant streets filled with life. "Come on...I know your hiding somewhere..." His emerald eyes shimmered gently with anticipation, his ears straining to hear even the slightest bit of noise. " It has been months since Hell broke loose all over the world...Now there's only a few of us left, still fighting the good fight..." The shepherd reached a paw under his coat and reached further behind him, gripping the handle of his Sai, inconspicuously in it's sheath in the coat. Suddenly a noise broke the deathly silence, the shepherd's eyes glinted, and without a single sound, jumped off the roof, somersaulting until he hits the ground almost cat like and swiftly hides himself noisessly behind a dumpster, both of his Sai unsheathed and held tightly. "Showtime..."

Elsewhere, a dark brown hound rushes through through the lifeless streets. He ran, a guitar strapped to his back. The instrument had been bloodstained for many months, but new demon blood graced the body.
Yeah, I got them good. The hound rejoiced in his head. Killing any demons and saving any survivors were top priority, ahead of even personal health. Needless to say, the hound was growing thin from starvation.
I need to put some meat on these bones. The dog dashed into an alleyway. He searched for anything to eat. His luminous green dyed fur made him not as concealing, so he knew that if he was to find food, he'd have to do it fast.
From the corner of his eye, he could saw a lone, disfigured rat scurrying away. The hound slammed his paw onto the rat, and firmly grabbed it. Not much, but you'll do. The dog dug his teeth into the rat, viciously tearing the mat from the bones. To some it might have been viewed as desperate. But to him, it was a feast.
After polishing off the rat, the hound licked his lips, coated in rat blood. "Delicious." The dog sneaked closer into the shadows and grabbed the guitar from behind his back. He began tuning the rusty strings. "Figures. I can defeat creatures from Hell with this thing, but I cannot find decent strings." he muttered. After a few moments, he plucked the strings to test the sound, which rang with the tone of evil
Whoa, need to fix that. He made some minor tunings, and reassured himself that now he had it. But from behind him, he felt a shift in the wind. What was that? The hound slowly rose onto two feet, his guitar at the ready. If he had to, he give the guitar another coat of blood paint.
"Alright, who's there?" he asked cautiously. He pulled out the black gem from its place in the guitar strap, and placed it into the grooves of the guitar neck. "Don't make me bring some angry gators into this fight. They own Georgia, I'd hate to see what they'd do to you."

The Shepherd's eyes seemed to glow in the gloom of the alleyway, he sheathes his Sai, and emerges from behind the dumpster to meet the hound at a good distance.
"I mean no harm."
He removes his hood, revealing himself to the other apparent survivor, The shepherd's face was fairly good looking and friendly, his emerald green eyes brought a welcoming, non decieving warmth to those who are in need or he meets.
" I see I' am not the only one in this forsaken city" His eyes traces the guitar, "Hm, and you also fight these demons I see..."
His ears picked up the sound of thunder rumbling above them, and rain hailed from the sky.
"Great, and I was hoping to be dry today." The shepherd gripped as he replaced his hood onto his head as he looked back at the hound.
"What is your name?"

The hound let his muscles relax as he saw a friendly face. He saw the dog eye the Demonn Killer "Yep," he commented after the shepherd noted about demon blood. "This baby's killed no less than 20 of those creatures."
The hound, too, heard the thunder and felt the rain pelt his skin. "So much for the extra blood stain." The hound reached for nearby trash to use as cover. The hound was slightly shocked by the shepherd's question. "Who am I? Surely you must have heard of me, I used to be a touring musician before the...'event' some time ago. I'm Eddie, Eddie Agen."
Eddie continued to try to find some cover, seeing none in immediate sight. "Say, do you have anywhere I can find some shelter until the rain dies down? An extra coat at least?" Eddie shook his head. "Ah, but first things first: what is your name?"

The Shepherd stepped forward and shook Eddie's paw, "Its a pleasure to finally meet you Eddie, your music is spectacular. And as for who I am, I'm Navrex, before all this I use to perform at a local cafe, before it was totalled by these parasitic creatures."
He hands Eddie an extra coat that he always kept on hand incase he would ever meet someone, "As for shelter, I'm afraid we will have to walk, its a long way from where we are standing." Navrex hands him a blanket to wrap his guitar in to keep it from being soaked and water logged.
"Now come, it will be safer if we were to go together." Navrex beckons Eddie to follow him.

Just like the German Shepard had taken to the rooftops a gorgeous white wolf had taken to the shadows of the loading docks nearby. Her white fur wove in the wind like silver strands, her eyes shone like sapphires and the low lighting of the dock lamps made her tight muscles looking more defined because of the shadows. On her back was a sword that had a large sharp blade, the hilt being a long metal rod with a wolf's head that appeared to be howling where the blade came out. The pole and wolf head appeared to be made of the finest silver. But the blade wasn't visible as it was in a sheath that looked like wrapped brown gauze. The blade itself was thick and had gauze wrapped around it also, but that couldn't be seen. Not yet anyway. Around the wolf's paw were wrapped gauze that was white a set of wooden beads on her left leg.
The wolf's ears pricked up and she turned her gaze towards the sound. Just an eerie sounding foghorn in the distance. She sniffed the air and moved her eyes about, narrowing her eyebrows. "Something doesn't feel right", she said quietly. "Something's wrong....something doesn't smell right." She walked a little further down the dock and walked onto the pavement, leading onto the empty streets. She sniffed the air and sighed. "More rain", she sighed. "No surprise there". As soon as the words had left her mouth thunder rumbled overhead. She looked up to see a dark and spooky clouded sky, covering the moon. Shortly after she lowered her head and continued walking, rain started falling from the heavens and onto her silver-white pelt. "Not again", she groaned. She broke into a run and shivered as the rain made its way through her thick fur to her skin underneath. I have to find some sort of shelter, she thought. At least for now. The wolf continued to run through the wet and empty streets but came to a halt when she saw two other dogs. "Hello", said the wolf curiously. "What do we have here?" She cleared her throat and approached the dogs, noticing they both had weapons. I can't start a fight with them, she thought. They're probably on my side. As she approached closer she cleared her throat and bowed her head. "Pien", she said as she bowed. "That means 'peace' in my language. It means I mean no harm." She lifted her head and eyed the two dogs. "I can tell you are on my side. Not only do you both have weapons but I smell the blood of evil on them. I too am after those evil creatures. I fought a ton before. Now, sorry to approach you guys like this but I'm looking for shelter. Do any of you know where I can find some?"
(OOC-I was gonna make this longer but eh, I got lazy. And yes, I'm making Faith somewhat nice in this one. Don't ask just deal.)

Eddie grabbed the coat and put it on. Black was definitely not his color, but now was no time to complain. If anything, it helped him blend in with the dark city.
"A long walk?" Eddie said as he wrapped his guitar in the towel. "Well it's not like I'm old and decrepit." Through the rain, Eddie swore he could have heard a splash from not too far behind. It could've meant one of two things: a warrior of light, or a bringer of darkness.
"Yeah, I do agree that sticking together is a good idea." Eddie stared at where he thought he had heard the noise. Nah, it was probably nothing. Eddie tried to ignore the sound, turning around, but was startled by another voice from behind. "Pien? Oh, okay. Peace." Eddie turned to see the speaker, and saw a white wolf. Good lookin' at least.
"You're looking for shelter, too? You can tag along with us here. That is, if you don't mind Navrex."

A stunning golden dog walked elegantly down the street, gazing around her. A sparkly belt around her waist, shining brighter than jewels despite the darkness, held a sword with a jeweled hilt, put safely into a sword case. Her neck was caressed in a single blue ribbon, tied in a neat and large bow. The locket around her neck dangled a bit, twirling a bit, making itself oblivious that it was any danger. Her dainty paws traced the sidewalk. She was moving as silently as a snake gliding across ther smooth rocks. The sky was getting darker and it was getting colder. A few stray drops of rain started to fall. "Oh...?" she said, stopping her pace and looking up. "Well, look here. Rain! We don't get much rain where I come from..." She looked around. She was talking to no one. She sighed and starting walking again. The rain began to fall heavier and she shuddered. The streets were eeriely empty on these parts. The dog, known by the name Alice, picked up the pace, hoping to get somewhere where she could take shelter. The ships at the docks made loud noises as they were ready to set off. It reminded her of home were the ships set off with the finest chocolates, or prehaps the shinest gold as their cargo, blowing their horns loudly. Alice's mind went into a phase of thinking about her home world's chocolate. Suddenly, two dogs and a wolf drew up into her eyeshot. Alice froze. Her right paw raised slowly up towards the hilt of her sword, as if they were predetors. She blinked her beautiful blue eyes and continued to look, taking her hiding spot in an alleyway. The white wolf said something that meant peace. Alice had brilliant hearing range. It was just one of her many abilities. Her right paw had now been tooken down. She meant no harm, but still... maybe she only meant to them. She, also, was not from here. Maybe she could be an enemy. Alice's paw, left this time, lifted itself slowly to touch the locket. She felt it's cold metal. It was being used, but maybe it may just have to be, if they dared try to harm her. Alice poked half her head out to see. The wolf spoke of creatures. Creatures? Do they too have evil creatures taking over their world here? Alice slowly emerged from her alleyway, her locket dangling around her neck, prepared to be any use if it's needed. "Excuse me" she said, approaching. "I'm sorry to disturb you in such weather, but did you mention creatures?" Alice scanned the three with her crystal blue eyes. She touched her locket lightly, paraniod slightly. "I was just wondering, you too have a problem in this world?" She played with her locket for a while. "I'm Alice, if you may be wondering. I just overheard you talking and the creatures caught my attention..." The red jeweled locket flashed light threatingly for a second, Alice's eyes turnign an odd shade of yellow for a split second. "Excuse me there, it's a long story really..." (OOC- In case you didn't know, Alice's locket holds what she calls "Medusa power" where, basically, if it's activated, she litertally had "Medusa power" and she could "kill" people by meeting their eye gaze )

Navrex lowered his hood to his two newest companions, the rain began to hail faster onto them, "Excuse me everyone, there will be time to introduce one another once we have found shelter, now follow me, my place isnt much lo-" Navrex suddenly feels a small surge run up his spine, and he looks up. seeing the darkness enveloped moon becoming shown once again.
"Oh no..." he turns to the others, "Everyone... we dont have much time... be quick now..." Navrex turns on his heel as the moon slowly became crimson, "If we are caught out here when that moon is blood red, then we are as good as dead, those creatures will over run us in seconds..."
Navrex reached back behind his cloak and unsheathes his Sai, flipping them in the defensive mode under his forearms, "as a word of caution, I suggest you keep your weapons out..." Navrex beckons them all to follow him as he starts running, the others getting various glimpses of his Sai glinting in the now appearing moonlight, guiding them to him.
"Now Hurry!"
