I've said it before and I'll say it again, this movie rocks. It is undoubedly the best canine film since Balto and perhaps since ADGTH. See this movie. The previews don't do this magnificent film justice.

The movie is nothing more then crap based on how wolves get together and mate. I mean really? Mating? I can see why that it got dissed. It's ridiculous that they made a wolf movie based on how the mate thing works. And Balto isn't even close to being the best animal movie. And like I said, I've seen the spoilers on Wikipedia and reveiew sites. So far, it's made 15 million dollars.

I thought the movie would be lame too, especially after it got bad reviews, but I decided to see it anyway, and was delighted to see that it was an enjoyable film, Look on youtube comments about the trailers. Others say the same thing. The mating thing is only a very small part of the movie. A family friendly movie review group gave it a good approval rating and they wouldn't do that if it was all about repopulation. The film is also approved by Defenders of Wildlife, which does a lot of work protecting wolves. As for the small amounts of cash the movie has made thus far, I attribute it mostly to badly made trailers, a (likely) low publicity budget, and critics who don't know what they are talking about. Movies also charge an arm and a leg for 3D films, which makes no sense these days.
Finally, as I said before, ADGTH is about gambling, drinking, death, hell, and using children, (and was slaughtered at the box office by The Little Mermaid) and yet it's a kids' classic that has many fans 20 years later.

It's kinda hellish seeing a great movie like this get so little attention. Poor Kate and Humphery! They seem like Anne Marie and David to me right now. Loveable little characters that are underappreciated. *Give 'em a hug*.

So far this movie has only made 25 million dollars. Poor fools. They couldn't even try to make the movie better. This is the sign of bad producers/directors and the low use of money to make it a good film. With all the highly rated movies that came out the week before, of,and after this film those films got better reviewed and are much worth seeing. It's just this film is all based on animal romance and kids just don't like it. Even the use of the word repopulate was unnecessary since it implies sex. Even though there was bad stuff in ADGTH, it made more money then Balto and had the highest VHS sales in history.

I suggest that only people who like Alpha and Omega comment here about the film. Hopefully Alpha and Omega will do good on video like ADGTH did.

There might be a chance that this movie could make a fair amount in DVD sales, but who knows. Vuk91, there is no war. I'm just stating the facts on why this movie isn't so good. If the company had put some money and more effort into this film, it would have been a success.
