Poochie, Della and Julie are shocked by Shadow's actions, but they don't let him know that for they fear one of them could be next. Their shocked expressions then fade as Shadow heals Kaltag's wound.

Ever hear of Auschwitz or Josef Mengele? Trust me, you do not want to know. Terrible, terrible things. I sometimes have flashbacks of it. Recent events don't help either. Shadow explained.
He then walked back up to Kaltag.
I am very sorry what I did Kaltag. I shouldn't have been so harsh. I don't know what came over me. Shadow apologized to Kaltag.
Promise me you want ever do that again, please. Kaltag asked.
A dog's word is his bond; and you have my word on it. Shadow promised.
Shadow, you changed since we met in Nome a long time ago. Steele said.
Yes, and I don't think I like the changes. Shadow said, looking down at his paws. One thing is queit clear; I have to keep my emotions in check, lest I do something rash. I only recall bits and pieces of what happened there, and it is enough to drive a sane dog mad. I don't know if I want to know what they did to me. It would serve no good. Shadow continued.
OOC; Went to the doctor today, found out I had a fever and my pulse was too high, as well as a bunch of skeletal and joint pains. I haven't ran any sort of fever in almost 5 years because my average body temperature is 95 or 94 degrees farenheit, or even lower.I am getting sick and tired of getting ill all the time. I wish the illnesses would either begone, or hasten their destuctive paths and become fatal. I have no preference.

AJ watched with his jaw dropped as he saw what Shadow kept doing to Kaltag. He then walked over to ask him whats up. Instead, he stood beside Steele and listened to what Shadow said.

Now Kaltag, I have a few suggestions for you. First, everytime you want to bonk Star, remember how much that hurt. Second, Star looks up to you, so you should treat him kindly. Third, vocabulary or intellegence qoutance does not make a dog smart. Wisdom and conciense play a role in it as well. But you will still have a lot to learn. Shadow told Kaltag.
OOC; I may be getting my wish, just not sure which one. According to my thermometer, my temp has dropped 5 degrees farenheit in an hour and a half. I imagine that is innaccurate because that is generally anatomically implausable and can also be queit dangerous. I still have no preference.

"Um...." AJ mumbled out, turning heads to Shadow, Kaltag & Steele a couples of times until resting his sight on Shadow. "You're ok, man?"

That, my friend, is something I may never know. I am pretty sure I will never do something like that to a friend again, no matter how angry he makes me. I have died twice in the bloodiest war in history; I think a family squabble is something that can easily be negotiated into peace. Shadow said.
He than looked at Kaltag.
"All wars are civil, because all men are brothers." Francois Fenelon You are all my family. Shadow said, holding out his paw to shake.
Kaltag and Shadow then shook paws.
A couple of minutes later, the outer digit on Shadow's front right paw fell of, literally.
Oh great, blasted radiation. Doesn't even go away after death. Steele, I need you to help me perform an immediate operation. Shadow said, looking towards Steele.
But I do not know anything about performing operations. Steele replied.
And nor shall you. I will talk you through it, and this will remain concious the entire time. We must hurry. Shadow explained.
Shadow picked up the detached digit, and he and Steele quickly left the premises and departed for heaven.

Shadow had talked Steele through a procedure. It took a mere hour, yet felt like days. After the operation, Steele stood back. Why didn't you bleed? Steele asked. The radiation apparently killed tissue in my paws. Shadow replied. They are made of metal, and yet look just like your paws before...er....How do you feel? Steele asked. Shadow stood up and looked at his paws. I have no sense of feeling in them whatsoever. I can sense object proximity and temperature, but only in numerical units. I will never be able to feel things with my paws again. Shadow replied. 3 two inch claws sprung from Shadow's left paw. I was still debating rather to install these or not. Both my forepaws have stainless retractable claws. I hope they can serve some useful purpose. Shadow explained. Can you still make that heat with your paws? Steele asked. No; apparently that was confined just to my forepaws and was terminated when they were removed. It is for the best; that radiation is deadly. Observing what it did to me, I shudder at the though of what harm it could cause to a mortal. Let's go back to the party, if anyone is still there. Shadow said. Shadow and Steele departed and arrived soon back at the party. Star ran up to Shadow jumping back and down. Your back! Your back! Star exclaimed. Yes I am. Shadow replied giving him a pet on the back. Shadow then looked around. Is anyone still here? It is awfully quite. he asked. OOC; Sorry about how crappy the pic appeared; I have not been feeling well. Is anyone still here?

"Well, is this enough dogs?" Della asked.
"We might as well call it that. I'd start this thing myself if i were more familiar with the place." Julie said.
Poochie, his mind a blank, then starts drumming on the table, yawning.

Gabe says to his friend "Are you alright?" Gabe observes and says "Good advice." His companion says "Wonder what will happen next?'
