History: Rusty was born in a Humane Society. His dam was left for the dead when she was left on the side of the road, pregnant with 3 puppies. The Cardi was then adopted by an old man, who trained him to herd sheep. For most of his life, that's what he did. In a wolf attack on his flock, Rusty chased after them to retrieve a lost lamb. When he saw the lamb dead on the ground Rusty didn't want to return to scoldings for a failed job. He then moved onto the streets where his mother was left, in New Orleans.
