Bio- In Jonathan Dragonbane's laboratory, he was attempting to create life. He tried it only once before, but the creature died only minutes after it came into existence. This time, Jonathan was more powerful in the art of magic. Perhaps one of the greates wizards in history. He wanted to create a creature that would help him with his experiments and help him keep order in the world. But, Jonathan's experiment backfired. He was able to create life, but he wasn't expecting this. In the center of a circle of runes, lay an animal that resembled a Samoyed. Jonathan was proud, he had finally succeded in creating life. He gave the creature a name, Ariakas uth Mondar, a friend of his he met with years ago. Then the dog got up, Jonathan sensed the evil in the creature, it was nearly palpable. Ligthning streaked from his paw, Jonathan was able to counter it with a spell of his own, but before he knew it, the dog destroyed part of the wall and escaped. Hellfire rained down upon San Francisco, flames engulfed houses, people, animals, cars, trees, and anything else the fire touched. Bolts of lightning striked the city, hail the size of a man's head fell from heaven, killing man and beast alike, in a single blow. Jonathan heard the pain filled cries of the dying, he flew over his city, trying to extinguish the flames and save the city. He found the dog and banished him to the abyss. From then on, Ariakas uth Mondar has been plotting to get revenge on Jonathan. From then on, he has become Lord of the Abyss, with his new powers, he is trying to get back into the world.
