I am strting aother fanfiction, But don't worry, I will be finishing leaving Flo. This idea just popped into my head too. It may contain some MILD swearing, but NOTHING over PG13, so dont worry, lol.
First week of high school in a new town. Flo didn't think it could get any worse. She had no friends, no boyfriend and no CLUE how to get her fricken locker open! She struggled to open the stubborn combination lock while balancing her books and coffee in one hand.
The bell rang and the mad ruh to get to first hour began. Flo shrieked as some labrador bumped into her, spilling her coffee all down her chest and books. She gave up on opening her locker and instead focused on trying to paw off the dark liquid soaking into her nicly groomed fur. All the rubbing just made it worse. Flo, noticing she was the only one left in the halls, decided to leave the coffee stain alone and try to make it to class before she was marked absent.
She dashed into class (English) just as the teacher called, " Flo, Flo Bones."
"Here!!!" She gasped as she slid into the first available seat, next to an extremely thin, and extremely pretty, Irish Setter.
"Excuse me." hissed the setter, " That seat was supose to bde for my friend."
At that moment, a pretty little spaniel sauntered in.
"Miss Bess." said the teacher, "The only seat left is next to Spike, in the back."
The spaniel's face fell, and she whispered to Sasha as she passed, "Why didn't you save a seat for me!"
"I did! This...thing took it!!!" growled Sasha, pointing towards Flo.
Bess and Sasha glared at Flo before Bess made her way to the back.
Wonderful. Thought Flo. She had made two enemies in her first two minutes of school.
Lunch was no better. Flo had not been able to make any friends in any of her first three classes, because unfortunatly Sasha was in all of them. Sasha seemed quite popular, especially with the guys, and she made sure Flo made no friends. Because of this, Flo was faced with the embarassing task of eating alone. She just hoped Sasha was not in her three afternoon classes.
When the bell finally rang to end school, Flo couldn't have been more happy. Even though Sasha wasn't in her afternoon classes, it seemed that word had gotteen out that she had angered Sasha, and if you knew wat was best for you, you should stay away. Flo's happiness was cut short when she stepped outside and realised it was raining. She lived almost seven miles away, and because she was only a freshman, she couldn't drive.
Sighing deeply, Flo began to walk home, getting soaked through in a matter of minutes. Her long fluffy coat felt heavy pressed against her sides. Flo was actually quite skinny, but you normally couldn't tell under all that fluff. Now you could distinctly see her ribs jutting out under the blanket of wet fur.
As she took the next step, her nail snagged on the pavement and she tumbled forwards, straight into a mud puddle. Flo lay there, udderly defeated. Today had sucked so badly, she didn't have the strength to get up.
"You need some help?" called a voice.
Flo sprang up embarassed. "No, no I'm fine."
The voice was comming from a handsome greman shepherd mix sitting in a banged up Jeep.
"At least let me give you a ride." he said, opening the passenger door.
Flo was to tired to refuse, so she hopped in. Even though the shepherds car was a mess, fast food and knick knacks thrown everywhere, she still felt bad about getting it muddy.
"I'm so sorry." she said.
"It's fine." he shrugged.
Flo looked at the dog closer, "Arn't you in my Art class after lunch?"
"Yeah, I think I am. Whats your name again?"
"Flo. Yours?"
"Charlie. I'm a Junior."
"Really? I'm only a freshman."
Charlie laughed, "A Freshie eh? Well then, where do you live Freshie."
"I live at 4366 Carleton. Do you live near there?"
" Naw, I live anywhere I want. I live in this car."
Flo looked at him suprised, "Where are you parents?"
"I don't care really. They were good for nothing curs"
Like my mother. Thought Flo. "Well, here's my house Charlie. Thanks for the ride.
Charlie nodded as she got out of his car. "No problem." He scribbled something on a little strip of paper and handed it to her. "It's my cell phone number. Call me if you ever need a ride."
"Thanks." said Flo, blushing.
Without another word, Charlie drove off.
