When you hear a song or some type of music, does it ever come across as a song that could be use for All Dogs in terms of its thems ?
There are some songs that I think fit All Dogs very well and here's a few
All Dead, All Dead - Queen
Just like starting over - John Lennon
God only knows - The Beach Boys
Too much love will kill you - Queen
It would be nice if you can check them out and tell what you think of them.
It would great too if you can make a list of songs as well, I would check out.
And please, if someone makes a list, please check it out.

Since I'm an AMV maker, naturally this is the kind of thing I think about on a regular basis. Dpstq, you most likely know of this already.
"Final Destination" by Within Temptation Although it takes a bit of a darker and more "blown up" take, it does seem to almost retell Charlie's story, relationship with death/heaven/the watch, and emotions on that subject. I knew it the second I read the lyric book and I constantly think of ADGTH when I listen to it (not always in the way I AMV though). Here is the first stanza for those that don't know the song. "I escaped my final moment But it's turning back on me On every corner I can feel it waiting Just a moment, no awareness I cound easily slip away And then I'll be gone forever" Doesn't that sound familiar? Charlie "escaped his final moment" by winding his watch, but it comes with the catch of him never coming to heaven if his watch breaks. Charlie becomes paranoid about the safety of his watch (well, you don't see it often in the movie) because it'll only take one second for him to be gone forever.
There are a few more, but this is the major one.

*Phoenix down!* *Revives* Ah, much better. Because this topic could have had a great discussion with it.
Perhaps some music, maestro? Nah.
"A Tout Le Monde" - Megadeth It is really hard for me to listen to this song and not think of the song. For those unfamiliar, the song portrays the last words of a dying man. Man, dog, virtually no difference. Even the lyrics fit: "Movin' on is a simple thing, What it leaves behind is hard, You know the sleeping feel no more pain, and the living are scarred" An almost perfect parallel to Charlie's death. I wouldn't have minded if this was used as the credit track. It's quite suited for it.
"Dream On" - Aerosmith Again, I mange to see the first film with every listening of the song. I like to see the song as a theme for Charlie, a very somber, almost sad, theme. I used to not make the connection, but two parts felt especially like the film, and the rest of the song just clicked into place. "Half my life's in books written in pages, I've learned from fools and from sages" And: "I know that everybody sins, You gotta lose to know how to win"
"Hero" - Nickelback (for the sake of not having to find the more accurate names) You can connect almost every stanza with the film. 1st Stanza: "I am so high, I can hear Heaven, Oh but Heaven, no Heaven don't hear me" (The connection is quite obvious) 2nd Stanza (Ignoring chorus): "Someone told me, love will all save us, But how can that be, look what love gave us" (Charlie's growing love/compassion for Anne Marie, which only proved trouble in the end) "A World full of killing, and blood spilling" (Charlie's death at the hands of Carface. Twice,) 3rd Stanza: I don't know why, but whenever I hear this stanza, I think to the scene where Charlie says his goodbyes to Anne Marie. Chorus: Quite obviously, Charlie is the "Hero"
*crosses fingers*

I know this song called "Angels and Serpents" which always reminds me of the competition between Annabelle and Belladonna, is that counts for anything. I can't remember who it's by though.

Oh, I've heard that before. Didn't think of it here, though. I believe it's by P.O.D., the same band who did "So Alive" (or a name along that track. Can't remember the official name).
