I have noticed that some people don't know what breed Bess is. Some have come up with the wrong type like Pomerian. She is a King Charles Cavalier(long bushy tail)/thingyer spaniel mix. That's what she appears to be.

I always thought thingyer Spaniel but Bess DOES look like she has King Charles in her

She must have just a little in her ancestry, so its quite possible, seeing as Bess's character wasnt really that developed other then her being a show dog and Itchy's Girlfriend

Mix breeds can't be show dogs. Only Purebreds.

I haven't seen all the Bess episodes, but she's identified as a thingyer Spaniel in her premier episode, Cyrano DeBarkiac.
