I think King Gator's scene is pretty scary. Well, it scared me as a child, not because I thought he was going to eat Charlie, but because 1. I couldn't tell if he was a man or a woman and 2. I didn't know if he was singing about eating Charlie or if he was in love with Charlie.

Charlie's nightmare certainly scared me witless when I was little. Coming from a very devout family made me understand it a bit more than most kids would've at my age. Probably not a good thing.

I also come from a devout family, so I understood the nightmare scene clearly, though the King Gator scene is even scarier, especially since you know what awaits Charlie if he gets eaten. Poor Charlie!

Goodbye Anne Marie and David Getting Kidnapped aren't scary at all. Goodbye Anne Marie is more of a very sad/emotional scene. By far, Charlie's nightmare is the scaries 1 of all.

Charlie's murder *shudders*. When I watched it first time, I was a kid and it was the last thing I expected to see in animated film. This scene still scares me every time I watch ADGTH, don't know why...

Good Bye Anne Marie is scary with the dragon at the beginning and David getting kidnapped is pretty scary to me. Of course, none of these scenes are any where near as scary to me as just about any scene with Annabelle in it. Almost gives me nightmares.

Hmn... I guess, but when I 1st saw David getting kidnapped, it didn't really scare me at all.

I guess.....Charlie's nightmare and Charlie's second death. That hellhound that appears and calls his name still gives me chills and his nightmare will always creep me out. Ew. I got chills just thinking about them.
And how is 'Goodbye to Anne Marie' scary? Oh wait the hell hound. Duh.
So yeah, I say, Charlie's nightmare, Charlie's Second Death, and Goodbye To Anne Marie even though that scene makes me cry more than creeps me out.
