OOC~I figure I can't be the only one looking to see if other people are still out there, but we won't know unless we post.

Shana, a pink whippet with a blue cloak, visited San-Fransisco once in a while, but kept her distance from her old, usual hangouts. It had been such a long time since she parted ways with all of her friends, and even though she was prone to be very forgetful, her memories of them always stayed. The Flea Bite Café was commonly in her sights, but without her old friends, it was just too difficult to walk back in and face those memories alone. She decided that today was the day she would face that fear she kindled in herself all these years. The cold night air made tiny clouds from her breath as she got closer and closer to the rundown establishment. The wind had ripped off part of the sign, leaving it as "bite Café". Shana shrugged off whatever meaning could be implied and pried a loose board away from the window so she could get inside.
Crippled furniture, broken mirrors and windows, dust covering every surface that pointed upwards (and maybe every other side). It was a sore sight to behold, and Shana wondered if she had made the right choice coming back here. She padded around the café, letting the memories wash over her: Halloween parties, Christmas parties, just being around everyone, for no other reason than to just be. It left her with a tight feeling in her heart. She found a familiar couch, angled from the lack of feet on one side and hopped on. A wave of dust burst forth, filling her nostrils, which were quickly cleared out with a tremendous sneeze. She settled into the lumpy cushions and buried her head under her cloak. "What am I doing to myself?, she thought, "this is too much". She wiped her tears away and peered through a crack in the hood, "Maybe it'll be easier looking at it in tiny pieces."
