(Yo, this is an RP for the old gang you know who you are! Hope to see a few of you come back and join me. All posts by non old gang members will be deleted)
A howl pierced the air, and shattered the silence in the quiet neighborhood, which had long since seen the last light shut off as night enveloped the city, leaving only the moonlight in the sky, and that which reflected off the Mississippi to illuminate the air. The howl seemed so misplaced, and woke several of the local dogs, comfortable in their uptown homes leading to a ruckus of barks filling the air, curious of the new unfamiliar howl that had shaken them from slumber.
A laugh echoed from the shadows of destroyed home, a reminder of the destruction that had rampaged the city several years ago. "It is soooo good to be back..." game a low raspy voice, followed by a low chuckle as out of the shadows a dark figure appeared, seeming to step out of the shadows themselves and nothing more. He let out another loud howl, and basked in the chaos he had created as dogs barked confused about who this newcomer was.
It had been years since Hanz had seen the light of the night, or day for that matter since he had been taken back by Belladonna for some....reeducation. She had seen a dangerous change in her most trusted servant and ally begin to question his role, and purpose after befriending the mutt Sylvester. She had watched as that warped twisted mind had begun soften Hanz, maybe because Hanz mind was just as twisted, but in a diffrent more logical way. That didn't matter now though, Belladonna had taken him away from earth, and given him time to cool down, as well as some other ....encouragement.
Hanz padded out from the rubble still chuckling to himself, grabbing the chain around his neck, which still had the broken wing pendant attached to it that he constantly played with out of habit. His black, and grey fur blended into the dark street, which lacked streetlights, and due to the fact that buildings were crammed together as close as could be, allowed very little light to come in from other places. The only part of him that stuck out was the top of his head, and ears which stood out with the pure white fur, seeming to almost float in thin air as he padded over to the street.
Like all streets in New Orleans, this one was more then worse for wear, pot holes, cracks, and trash littered the street. He kept a wide grin as he walked down the street looking at the small houses, crammed together tightly. "Smell that air! The stale air of the city, filled with the scent of trash, food, and more! It is so good to be back here again after such an absensce, hopefully I can find myself some trouble to get into here.....that shouldn't be a problem though. After all, its never been a problem for me before"
