Chapter 1: Britany's little tale
It was a typical day in San Fracsisco, and Charlie and Itchy were in the flea bite, accompanied with Sasha who was serving drinks. However, Sasha was looking out for Ginger, who said she was coming back to get her revenge after Sasha called her an ugly stray mutt with no life. This was not true, as Ginger was quite pretty. And if she wasn't, however did she win the heart of the brave, handsome and cold-hearted Scott?
"Aw Sasha, calm down! Ginger knows better than to kill in broad daylight and where theres a ton of others around. Even Scott knows that too!" Charlie said, taking another swing of the rootbeer.
"Ah yes, but when I go back into the freezer to get... say... more fries... she could attack me there!" Sasha said.
"Ginger wouldn't be able to get into the freezer, she'd have to walk through the door!" Itchy pointed out.
"And she'd have to go through me!" Charlie said, grinning in a flirty way towards Sasha.
"Oh, that'll be a task, won't it?" Sasha said, rolling her eyes. Yet, she smiled. Then a second setter wandered in. She hit Charlie's memory. This was Britany... she wasn't as pretty as Sasha, but she still had beauty. What was SHE doing here? After all, she DID work for Scott...
"Gimmi some of that stuff" she said, eyeing Charlie's rootbeer. Sasha snarled and glared at her.
"Scott sent you here, didn't he?!" she hissed. Britany smirked.
"Not telling any secrets" Britany said, her eyes full of tease and cheekiness.
"Then get outta here, you mutt!" Sasha hissed. Britany held upher paws and pretended to look offended.
"Ohhhhh, Sasha's mad! What'cha gonna do, faint on me?" Britany held her paws down again and laughed. "Now, wheres my drink?"
"I'm not giving YOU anything!" Sasha said, sticking her snout into the air. Britany rolled her eyes.
"Shall I tell Ginger where your hiding place is?" Britany said.
"She knows I'm here!" Sasha said, with a smirk. Britany tapped the table impatiently his her fingers and refused to make eye-contact with Sasha and looked very annoyed.
"Just gimmi a drink and I'll leave" Britany muttered. Sasha poured out a drink for the scruffy stray setter in front of her and pushed it towards her. Britany gulped a bit of it.
"So... whats Scott up to these days?" Charlie asked. Britany shrugged and took another swing of her drink.
"Can't tell you that" she said. "Its our business, not yours!"
"Had any contacts with Belladonna lately?" Charlie was always curious about BlackDeath (the name of Scott's group), despite his hatred for them.
"Yea... once or twice... but Scott managed to get rid of her... wasn't too hard for him yenno... his stregth is superior among others" she said, giving a glance at Charlie as if to said he was weaker than any other dog around. He snarled at Britany.
"Whats that supposed to mean?!" he hissed. Britany chuckled and gulped down more of her drink, refusing to tell him anything.
"Anyway, he is "King of the Streets" yenno, he can get anybody around the neck and double cross them if he wishes. She can do anything really" Britany added.
"Stop basking in Scott's glory and tell me something!" Charlie snapped. "Whats he up to... I saw him laughing to himself with Jack yesterday, I know something is up!"
"Ah, that. How do you know it was really a plan, Charlie?" Britany said, mysteriously. She was just as crafty as Belladonna, by the way she said her words. She spoke slowly and icly, picking her choice of words carefully.
"You've got your drink, now get!" Sasha hissed in Britany's ear. Britany waved her off with a casual move of her paw, put down the glass and jumped off her seat.
"Very well... I'll go. After all, I did say I would, and I keep my word. But think really hard about it, Barkin... a laugh could mean anything... but alas you could be right" Britany was already making her way towards the door and stopped when she opened it. She turned.
"It just depends on the dog's personality, am I right?" she said, with a smirk. And with a flourish of her fluffy gingerish brown tail, she was gone.
"What did she mean by that?" Charlie asked.
"Forget about her Charlie..." Itchy said, trying to distract him. "Don't get yourself in trouble!"
Itchy is right, thier nothing but trouble!" Sasha said. "Believe anything they say and they'll lure you into thier trap! Its what they do!"
"Scott and me are... well... we're trying to get along better" Charlie lied. He grabbed a nearby sandwich and dug his teeth into it. Then he winced and spat it out.
"Thats disgusting! Whats in that?!" Charlie coughed.
"Thats MY salad sandwich!" Sasha hissed.
"Ew, who eats THAT in a sanwich?! Now my mouth tastes like tomato and lettuce!" Charlie said, trying to wash out the taste using his rootbeer.
"Excuuuuse me for trying to eat healthy here!" Sasha snapped.
"Yea, exactly!" Charlie snapped back.
Chapter 2: Carafce meets BlackDeath
The pit bull waited impatiently for Jack to come back with Scott, the leader. Carface was delivering a message from Belladonna, and he knew Scott would not be all listen when he told him.
"Carface... what in Annabelle's name... man, I hate her... anyway, what the heck to YOU what?!" Scott said, coming out of the shadows.
"Don't blame ME for this, but Belladonna wants to tell you something" Carface said.
"Oh wonderful" Scott said, sarcastically. "What does SHE want... tell her, I will NEVER EVER work for her! EVERRRRR!"
"Well... she's making an offer... if you do a task for her, she will grant you three wishes, of your choice" Carface said.
"Keep talking mutt" Scott said, his hazel eyes narrowing. He wasn't particularly into anything else but the wishes. Knowing he got Scott's attention, Carface continued.
"She wants you to help her with her takeover for Heaven" Carface said. Scott yawned slightly and nodded. Knowing if he told a long tale about Belladonna's plan, Scott will loose his focus so Carface decided to stretch the truth a bit.
"She knows your all strong and big and needs your power to help her" Carface said. Scott's bored face broke into a wild proud grin.
"I AM pretty impressive" Scott chuckled.
"Exactly... and YOU can scare all those prissie angels! You and your beautiful girlfriend" Carface said. Scott's face fell when he called Ginger beautiful and got paraniod.
"What'cha say bout Ginger?!" Scott said, slightly snarling.
"Oh...but I know she's your property" Carface said. Scott grinned but his face fell again when Ginger came out, unimpressed.
"His... PROPERTY?!" she hissed.
"Aw honey, your... your... um... your property" Scott said, putting an arm around her and glared at Carface."How DARE you?!"
This wasn't going well... so he needed to continue.
"Anyway, as I was saying, she needs your help. If you help her, you get three wishes of your choice" Carface continued.
"Three? Make it five or its no deal!" Scott hissed. "Coz I don't PLAY the fool!"
"Of course, of course! Five then!" Carface said.
"One for each of us?" Ginger asked. Scott looked at her and scoffed.
"No, where'd you get THAT from?! Two for you, and three for me!" Scott said.
"Why do YOU get the most wishes?!" Ginger hissed.
"Coz I know how to use them, and NOT wish for things like new lipgloss or perfume!" Scott said, with a smirk. Ginger snarled and glared at her boyfriend.
"At elast I won't wish for things like a chainsaw!" Ginger snapped.
"Its better than lipgloss..."
"THATS IT!" Ginger stromed off. Scott looked at her walk away and sighed. He always blew it when it came to un-even numbers to share out. Oh well... she always comes running back.
"Anyway... you have to come and meet up with her at Red's old place at midnight!" Carface said.
"Why is it always midnight? 11.00pm or nothing!" Scott said. Carface sighed and nodded. There was no protesting against Scott. That was always a mistake. You'll never see the light of another day.
"Be there then" Carface said, walking off. Scott growled and looked back at the alleyway. He smirked, sat down and watched. Ginger timidly came out of the alleyway and smiled at him.
"Two wishes is good enough for me yenno... I shouldn't have over-reacted like that" she said. Scott smirked wider to himself and trotted over to Ginger and gave her a nuzzle befoer walking back into the alleyway.
