(Yes, I KNOW I started a new story already, but this one has a much better storyline. By the way, no chapter titles in this one. Just the chapter number. By the way... yes, I DID take the name Bellatrix from somewhere else. Sorry.)
Introduction
It was clear today that Charlie and his pals are bitter enemies with Scott and his own posse, but was it always that way? Well... in this case, we had better find out HOW exactly Scott and Charlie became enemies after being close friends...
Chapter 1.
Charlie waited impatiently for his other pal, Itchy to get ready. Charlie was also nervous, and didn't know what Scott would think when he told him he found a weiner dog to join them on thier missions. Scott was hardcore. He does just about anything and would kill anybody if he wanted to.
His brother, B.J, was just like him, but B.J was more stronger as he was the older one.
Charlie couldn't help but notice how Scott's father used to take favourtism in his puppies. The rest of the litter were girls. Scott and B.J were the only male pups and their father was just like the both of them.
B.J (Full name, Billie Joe. His father always did like Greenday...) was chosen to be "King of the Streets" after his father, but B.J didn't like the sound of it. He'd reather be an outcast. B.J wrote his own music and made his own plans to run away and be the outlaw of the streets.
But that was a disadvantage, as then Scott was chosen to be King of the Streets, although his father wasn't so happy about it, although his mother was over-joyed.
Scott's sister, Bellatrix, was named after Belladonna, as she was born with an odd colour of purple eyes. Bellatrix was closer to Scott than B.J and helped Scott rise up to fulfill his goal.
"What'cha thinking about, Charlie?" a voice asked. Charlie snapped out of the stroy he was telling himself and looked around. He looked at the ground to see Itchy.
"Oh... nothing" Charlie said. "Lets go Itch."
Charlie lead the way towards Scott's place where he heard loud snarling and a yelp of pain. B.J trotted out of the alleyway, his green eyes glaring into Charlie's.
"Scott isn't fit to speak right now" he said, with a smirk. Charlie was always quite afraid of B.J...
"Scott?" Charlie caled into the alleyway. Scott was actually on his feet, looking around the alleyway, looking bored. "B-But... B.J said-"
"Who, B.J? I figured he'd say something about hurting me" Scott said, boredly. His glance landed on Itchy and his hazel eyes narrowed. "Who's this kid?!"
"This is... Itchy" Charlie said, hesitating. Scott was silent but broke the silence like a knife with a loud laugh of tease.
"No seriously... you said he was tough!" Scott said. "Wheres the real dude?"
"He IS tough... with... opinions and words anyway" Charlie said. Scott's face fell and he took his gaze off Charlie and looked at Itchy. His mouth curled into a cruel snarl.
"Charlie... why'd you make friends with this kid?" Scott said, softly and dangerously. Itchy backed off and hid behind Charlie's back legs. Then someone picked him up by the tail.
"Who's this? Our dinner?" a hoarse voice sneered. It was Bellatrix. Bellatrix was a brown and white collie. Charlie knew Bellatrix had a illness which is why her voice was hoarse.
"No... THIS is Itchy" Scott said, his eyes narrowing at Charlie.
"Oh goodness!" Bellatrix said, dropping him on the ground. "THIS is the... "tough" dude that your friend here was talking about?"
There was a silence. The only thing that broke it was the soft music that played from the stereo that B.J had once bought back.
Chapter 2
Charlie walked Itchy back, feeling foolish for bring Itchy to meet Scott. Itchy walked silently at Charlie heels.
His laugh was lodged in Charlies head. Scott really thought he was joking. And that wasn't good. Plus, Bellatrix didn't think much of him either. Imangine what B.J would think!
"Why didn't he like me, Charlie?" Itchy asked, tearing Charlie away from his thoughts. Charlie looked at Itchy and sighed, slumping his shoulders.
"Well... Scott... is... looking for a tough army, Itch. He... doesn't want... dogs... that LOOk weak" Charlie said.
"What do you mean?" Itachy asked.
"I'm not saying you ARE weak, Itch! Your not!" Charlie said. "Scott thinks you are is all."
"Why?" Itchy asked. Charlie closed his eyes and inhlaed a sharp breath.
"Your short..." Charlie said, almost in a whisper. There was silence. Itchy looked horrified.
"But... you said..." Itchy started.
"He'd like a person like you in his army, I know... I didn't know he'd act like that!" Charlie said, standing up for his defence. "I thought he'd.... look past all that."
"But he didn't, did he?" Itchy asked, looking glum.
"Hey, don't look so down!" Charlie said. "We'll go get some burgers or something, that'll cheer you up!"
Itchy smiled weakly at Charlie, trying to cheer himself up. Juet then, B.J leapt over Charlie gracefully and landed on all fours. He grinned at Charlie and nodded his head.
"B.J... I need to ask you something" Charlie said. "Itch... go on without me, I'll meet you in the Flea Bite." Itchy nodded and walked on.
"What'cha need, lil bud?" B.J asked, yawning.
"Why is Scott so... whats the word... aggresive?" Charlie asked. B.J looked up at Charlie blankly and boredly and shrugged.
"Hm... I dunno and frankly, don't care" B.J said. "If he wants to be a copy cat and follow in dads pawprints then let him, I ain't gonna stop him."
"But... you treat him so creully!" Charlie said. B.J looked up, his eyes glittering mischivously.
"Theres much worse to come" he smirked. He winked craftily and with a swish of his bottle brush tail, he was running down the sidewalk again.
"What COULD he mean?" Charlie asked himself. Surely he wasn't going to try and get rid of his own brother, was he? But B.J was cunning... he would do just about anything.
"No... I'm just being stupid!" Charlie said, trying to laugh the thought off his brain. "B.J isn't THAT evil!"
Chapter 3
Charlie and Itchy returned to their apartment at 10.00pm that night. They were stuffed with burgers, fries and other fatty foods.
"This place is a MESS!" Itchy said, grimancing when Charlie turned on the lights. Itchy gingerly took his paw off a half-eaten slice of pizza. "Charlie, you slop!"
"What? I like being messy!" Charlie said, hopping onto his sofa bed. "it helps me find stuff better! Like... theres the other half of my burger!" Charlie said, picking it up off the ground and wolfing it down.
"Charlie! Don't you think... we could clean this place?" Itchy asked, looking about, throughly disgusted.
"Nah" Charlie said, waving the idea away with his paw like it was dangling in front of his face. "Too much work. I'm going to sleep."
"Fine... night Charlie" Itchy said, walking towards his own bed.
Charlie fell fast asleep until he heard a sharp cry that awakened him from his sleep.
"RAH, NOOOOO!" It sounded alot like Scott...
"Scott!" Charlie cried, jumping up. Itchy also ran out.
"What in Annabelle's name is going on?!" Itchy yelped. Charlie didn't answer him and ran out the door, into the night and down the road. He couldn't see because of the darkness but he tried to make out what dark shadows were.
"DON'T!" The cries got louder and louder with every stride Charlie took.
"B.J... he got him, I knew it!" Charlie yelped. He skidded to a stop outside the alleyway, where all he could hear was a soft sound of sobbing. He didn't know what to do...
"Whos there?" asked the gruff voice of B.J.
"Charlie" Charlie called into the alleyway.
"Let him in" said a soft voice. It was Scott. B.J's greens eyes peirced out of the darkness and then disappeared as he tuirned. Charlie walked in and made out three shadows, one of which was lying on the ground.
It was Bellatrix. She lay on the ground, her mouth open and her tounge hanging out and lying on the dusty ground. She looked like she had just fallen sideways to fall asleep or something. But she wasn't breathing... Charlie couldn't hear anything from Bellatrix.
She was always quite sick... Bellatrix had a hoarse voice after her first try on fighting Belladonna, where Belladonna left Bellatrix lying on the ground, fighting for life. Luckily, B.J found her and took her back where she was not so much healed. Bellatrix had now lost her fight.
Charlie couldn't believe his eyes as the motionless collie dog before him didn't stir. Her pelt wasn't moving, which meant she wasn't breathing.
"Its Bellatrix..." said Scott, softly. "Shes dead."
(Yes, I know it sucks, but I tried. There IS more to the story and I WILL update this... or at least try to anyway...)
