I don't know if anyone is still around here or not, but I realized I haven't posted here in a whole year and I've really missed this place. Killer, Hedge, and Itchy, if you're still out there, please post!

~~Kila pads through the soft, new-fallen snow, returning to the place she almost dared to call home...the place where she had met someone she truly loved...and he truly loved her in return. The place where she'd made so many new friends. Are they all still there? Are they well? She will never know unless she goes back to find them. Making her way to the Fleabite Cafe, she finds herself singing quietly.~~
"I'll be home for Christmas...you can count on me...please have snow and mistletoe and presents by the tree...I'll be home for Christmas...if only in my dreams..."

A golden yellow, cloaked whippet padded up the streets of San-Fransisco. His destination: The Flea Bite Café. His rendez-vous point: A mistletoe. His objective: Wasn't it obvious? Ray pondered some lines he could use when he met someone there, but they were all pretty well overused, probably by him as well. "Ah, who needs a cheesy pick up line when I could just as easily try to wow them without words?" he said to himself. "I should probably do a check to make sure Stripe isn't around the place before I try anything though.... Ah Stripe, the one canine who actually likes me for who I am," Ray sounded almost dreamy at that point, and almost ran into a frozen street lamp. Luckily his tongue missed it, otherwise he would have found out for the first time, first paw, what frozen metal could do to a dog. He shook his body a bit, to get the snow off his back, and to wake himself up. There wasn't any wind blowing the snow around, and for that he was sub-consciously grateful. The snowflakes slowly fell in large, fluffy bundles. It almost made Ray forget why he was even outside to begin with.

"I thought I knew that voice" SunFlash said as she leaped out from a nearby fence, keeping her balance as she sat. Her chestnut eyes glittered as she looked down at her friend.

The snore stopped and out pops a sleepy-headed fox who's fur is white and a scar across his left eye but, still can see. "Hello...?"

~~ooc~~ SunFlash! ~~bic~~ ~~Kila's ears lower slightly as she realizes the voice does not belong to that of her beloved Killer, but she wags her tail in a friendly manner and smiles at the wite fox.~~ "Oh...I'm sorry. I thought you were...someone else. Uh, my name is Kila. Who are you?" ~~She glances up as she catches movement out of the corner of her eye. Seeing the familiar border collie, she wags her tail and grins broadly.~~ "SunFlash? Wow, it seems like I haven't seen you in forever! How have you been?" |

~~She can't help but wag her plumed tail hopefully as she questions Ninetails. Perhaps he has been acquainted with Killer and maybe...just maybe...he can tell her where she might find him.~~

"Can't complain really...for the most part" She said shrugging. "Ya, I haven't seen Killer much either. Hope nothing happened to the poor guy" SunFlash jumped down and stood my Ninetales.

~~Kila heaves a heavy sigh, ears lowering as she begins to wonder if she will ever find Killer again in this big city. It seems even his closest friends have vanished as well, making it that much more difficult to locate him.~~
"Well, I'm on my way to the Fleabite. Do you two want to come with me?"

She shrugged "I wanted to see if Jay was in town, but I guess he isn't. And I had to leave my human years ago. Didn't like me, so he kicked me out and gave me the yellow grafitti treatment with my head and some spraypaint"
