That could be David.

David is probably right about finding another thug to grovel to. It sounds like Killer, it's something he would do.

The twilight bark-esque scene we got in ADGTH made me think of the future of those dogs that played a roll in Charlie and Carface's lives. Who knows, maybe some of them went on and build their own casino or hangout thing after the events, Killer being one of them.
Contrary to popular opinion I don't think Flo and the pups went to live with Anne Marie, the ending makes no indication of this. I think she just kept Itchy.
Hell...thinking about this further pisses me off about the show. I would had rather have the show explore the characters from movie one like Killer, Flo, King Gator (I like him, live with it) and even the likes of minors like Smiley than introducing continuity altering mutts like Belladonna and pups with no purpose like Bess. XP

I like Bess, but you have many good points.

XP I agree. Though I do watch the series occationally, I would've loved to see more of the minor characters from the first movie in the show. Heck, maybe if Don Bluth did the series, we'd see what ideas he had for those characters that we didn't see in the movie, such as what Charlie and Flo's relationship is (I personally think they are brother and sister, but that's just me), what the heck happened to Killer and the other hench-dogs, how Killer got to be with Carface in the first place, what Don's vesion of Charlie and Itchy first meeting was, and how Charlie and Carface got to be partners. Even some more King Gator would've been fun. Instead, we got Belladona, Bess, and other characters that we only see for one episode.

It's a pity Don rarely returns to his previous work. It kinda feels like a father abandoning a child (or in this case, an owner abandoning a dog). But if he didn't do that, we might never have gotten Sasha, David, or found out the whippet angel had a name.

You guys seems to be missing the point. The show was made to show the adventures of Charlie and Itchy in funny/semi-romantic ways. Some movies did have TV series like Tarzan. I know everybody hates the new personalities of the characters, but heck, I found it very amusing and hilarious. As some people said, character's personalities change. Barkin went from a scheming mongrel to a kind guy and then a goof head. Can't blame him though.
The only mistakes were looking back at Itchy when he was a pup and when he met Charlie.
Bess was a great character. She was kind, caring, and a good fit for Itchy. Best couple in the series. Not saying better then the on/off thing between Charlie and Sasha though.
I think the show just being made to look back at some of the old characters would have been just a waste unless they made some episodes.
I give the series between a high C and a low B. The animation was a bit bad, but still okay.

You can explore character backgrounds and tie them to the main characters. A background on Flo for example, could had made a good episode in teaching/showing Charlie what effect he's had on people, like the help and hurt he's done to them. And all the ones I mentioned could've been part of an origin episode for Charlie. Episodes didn't have to focus on them. Though, sometimes the best series are the ones that take even the slightest bit of time to develop other characters and recognize many aspects of the set universe.
And romance? What kind of real romance, Charlie and Sasha was just the cliche on again, off again and Bess and Itchy was just, I have to impress the girl with lies and not my true self. =/
If I wanted real romance I wanted to see why Charlie really cared for Sasha, being put in situations where he had to go against his likings and ideals for her. And see how his status as an angel could be a burden in their relationship.
And I think the only good thing to come out of Don's absence in post 89 ADGTH was Sasha and the expansion on the Heaven and Angels concept. Nothing else. David can just burn (no offense, but I don't give a d**n about the kid).

As you can see by my username, I like David a lot. I don't want to get into an argument about this, so please don't. I like the kid because he is kind, noble, loyal, and brave. He and Anne Marie are much of the reason ADGTH is such a success in my opinion. Dogs and kids just go together and the ADGTH saga kind of lost its soul when the makers forgot that.

I totally agree. What's a dog without dog's best friend?

I did like David. He was a good kid. Even his majic tricks were incredible.
I wish there was Charlie/Sasha, but knowing Charlie, he has a tendency to screws things up.
I know that Itchy did lie and was not himself to impress others, but that was a vital life lesson.
Perhaps being a guardian angel did cause problems with Charlie's/Sasha's relationship.

I actually thought David was annoying but then as the movie went on I learned to love him.

I'm sorry, but David was just pure irratating. Everytime he opened his mouth, I groaned on the inside and thought "please, not now." And the song "Easy Street" grated on my nerves like grating cheese. I used to fast forward it all the time.
I agree, the only good thing that came out of the sequeals was Sasha. The others were just a bit useless and... well... typical. Even if Sasha was typical herself, I took a liking to her. Her actress has one heck of a voice, I admire Sheena for that. Belladonna was alright, I suppose. I used to like her a lot, but then I simply lost interest. She's still an "inspiration" for an evil character I'm working on for another book I'm attempting to write (that's three now). But only slightly (it's mostly inspiration from Bellatrix out of the Harry Potter books).
But I'm getting side tracked now, my point is, there was no point for Bess anyway, except just for getting Itchy a girlfriend. And Annabelle... oh dear Lord, what did they do to her? In the first movie, she was actually a pretty likeable character for me, then they had to go make her such a whiney brat. And I would much rather perfer Charlie's first personality (the original ADGTH) than to this... thing they made him. Is it good or bad...? It just gets on my nerves. Burt was the ultimate Charlie, the rest of the voices just got on my nerves.
I would love to watch the first again, but I don't have the DVD anymore. thanks to my little cousin throwing into the pool... (no, I don't have a pool but once, I went on holiday and there was a pool in the house and my little cousin, who came along along with the rest of her family, decided it was a good idea to throw DVD's in the pool so... it was bye bye to ADGTH.) Wonder if they have it on youtube...?

David was not that bad.. I mean he seemed a bit annoying, but come on, he stepped up and helped Charlie out. That is something admirable there.
I can't blame Annabelle for being annoying in the series. Gotta blame Charlie and his dumb antics as a guardian angel. I mean sure, but she was like that since she had to put up with him since Charlie was the best angel.
Bess was still good... She was very kind, caring, and compassionate. She stepped up to help Itchy in Fearless FIDO and wanted to end the quarreling between Charlie/Itchy.
Again for the voice actors, they are picked based on personality. Burt was picked for the 1st because of his con man voice/look. Since the series was a comedy, Webber was chosen since he was in comedy series like Wings.
I doubt that the movie on You Tube will last for long. Download Real Player. You can download videos from the internet.
