(OOC- Thus, Dale returns to the scene! ;D) Britney and Poppy couldn't get rid of their brother THAT easily. Frankly, Dale was a little ticked off at being left behind. How... rude. Then again... Dale has had his fair share of being rude...Still... he thought. No excuse. Luckily, Dale's owner, Marco, was down for a little vacation. He knew Britney and Poppy had escaped for some space but he kept thinking... Britney and "space" often did not give privileges. No suicidal, miserable mutt should be left alone with a syco. Sniffing the air tentatively, he caught Jimmy's scent. Dale, being Dale, was quite fond of Jimmy. Dale was a punk as well... just not as hardcore as Jimmy. Following the scent, it lead to a graveyard."Oh, charming" Dale said, gulping. He took a shaky step it. "Anyone here? Don't lie, I can HEAR you! And smell you!" He took another step in. The gate had been knocked down. A few more steps. This place was beyond creepy. And, it was dark. Dear lord, it was dark."Don't try anything funny!" Dale snapped. "I have lightening reflexes!" This could not be further than the truth. But how hard could it be? he thought. It was then he saw the scenario of Jimmy and Soapy. And Britney, walking away, followed by Poppy. Dale, deciding to consult with the others before joining his, walked down, completely ignoring the wisp."Cut any stupid things and tell me what happened, NOW!" Dale ordered, his eyes gazing around in a sharp glare. "WHY is my sister so upset?" His glare landed on Jimmy. But then he dragged his eyes away. He knew better than to mess with Jimmy. "Do I have to force it out of you all? Tell me! Before I personally do... I dunno what I'll do, but it'll be bad!" Obviously, Dale didn't mean this. he was a gentle, warm hearted mutt who listened to what people had to say. But when the going gets tough... It was then he noticed the wisp. He opened his mouth to say something but shook his head and ended up saying, "Nah, I don't wanna know." (OOC- TOUGH DALE AND JIMMY! ... oh dear... mad Soapy, suicidal Britney, caring Poppy, crazy Jimmy... what else did I miss?

Soapy listened carefully to Naomi as she explained what the fox spirit had told her and nodded slowly, almost in thought. She was about to ask Naomi something when Britney told her that she had made the worst mistake of her life. Soapy turned to her best friend to see what she meant then everything went to hell. Poppy started laughing and Soapy wondered why but then saw Jimmy's eye flash with anger and heard an even more horrible snarl escape his throat. Soapy looked at him in shock and felt herself back up a little as Britney tried to calm him down. That only made him worse. He reared up on his hind legs, right over Soapy then began to yell at her. "I said-", Soapy started before being cut off by Britney who grabbed Jimmy and pulled him back. Soapy stared wide-eyed at Jimmy as he threatened her and Nicky. Her heart started to pound. She didn't want this to happen. This was exactly what she was trying to avoid from happening. When Soapy saw him lunge forward she did the only thing that came to her mind. She reared up herself and snarled, baring her teeth, getting down in a low fighting stance, her chest rumbling with a deep growl, her eyes slits, the hair on the back of her neck standing up, and her teeth bared. When Jimmy brought up destroying Dante she got even angrier and took a step forward. She was about to lunge at him, grab his neck and tear him apart but heard Britney speak up after Soapy had brought up the fact that Jimmy had nothing. Britney was taking it to heart. Soapy felt her eyes soften and her body relax as she looked at Britney. "Britney I didn't mean-", Soapy started before Britney ran off. Soapy ran after Poppy and stopped a few feet away from them, listening to them speak. She stood there in shock and felt her heart ache for Britney. She thought of a way to make it up to Britney, to help her feel better. Soapy was whacked out of her thoughts by Poppy who was yelling at her and the rest. Suicide?, Soapy thought, her eyes glazing over. "No", she said, crumpling back to the others. "No....she can't." Soapy ran into Jimmy who admitted this was his fault and that Soapy shouldn't have said what she did. "So you're saying I can't stand up for myself and those I care about?", Soapy tried to spat but it came out as a sob. She turned back to Britney, giving Jimmy one last growl and walked over to her best friend. "Britney please don't do that", Soapy said, her voice cracking. "When I said that thing about having nothing it didn't apply to you, I swear. I was talking to Jimmy, honest. I didn't know you'd get all upset over something I said that was directed at him. Look, I'm sorry I hurt you. I honestly didn't mean to hurt you or anyone else. If Jimmy hadn't said-". Soapy cut herself off and sighed. "What's the use?", said Soapy, slowly walking back to the others. "You obviously hate me now Britney. And if anyone should leave....it should be me". She looked sadly at Keith and Naomi and sighed. "I'm sorry you had to see that", said Soapy. I don't usually.....I'm not like that....honest. I'm sorry I stood up for myself. I'm just sick of others walking all over me because I'm not tough enough. I didn't mean to hurt anyone." Soapy sniffled and looked towards Poppy and Britney. "I-I gotta go", said Soapy. "And Britney? I'm sorry". Soapy looked back at Naomi and Keith. "I sorry I ruined everything", said Soapy. "I'll....tell you about the shadow man I saw trying to attack Toby some other time. Right now I think I should go". Suddenly, Soapy noticed Dale appear as she was on her way towards the gate. He asked everyone why Britney was upset and Soapy felt her heart sink. "It's my fault Dale", she said, gulping back a sob. "Jimmy insulted Nicky being a police dog and I stood up for him and....then all hell broke loose. And now Britney's upset and....and....I should just go....Sorry Dale." Soapy started to walk past Dale, slowly towards the open gate, upset that she had ruined everyone's day. (OOC-Poor Soapy. She really meant well. But poor Britney too. )

Throughout the entire thing, Keith, Naomi and Sarai kept their mouths shut. Neither of the three were willing to contribute anything to the 'conversation', trying to make sure nothing worse occurred.
At the end, Noami groaned. "And then there were four", she said to herself with a scowl forceful enough to scare a grizzly bear.
Keith sighed as he spoke to Dale, saying, "As you can see, this is a long story. If you are a friend to any of those three dogs back there, I'd suggest you go to their aid..." ~~~ Charlie indeed had forgotten all about Jamiel, but then again, it WAS barely over 70 years ago since he had last heard from him. The German Shepherd raised his arm up quickly, not speaking a single word, and instead threw himself forth, intending to bash the possessor of Zoey in the head or back of the neck with his elbow.

(OOC- AH! IT'S THE EVIL ONE WHO TRIED TO MAKE ME WATCH NARUTO! *rolls about on the floor screaming* I'm kidding, welcome to the rp Dale Jimmy watched, with a clever and smug smirk. "That's exactly what I'm saying. Because you're just a little girl, Soapy" he sneered. "You should stay outta trouble, keep all tucked up in your nice little house, like a good doggie." He glanced over at the two setters talking in hushed tones. He watched Soapy run up. he fought down the urge to yell HA! Gonna make more trouble? because even he didn't want this situation to get worse. Not for him, anyway. Poppy saw Soapy coming and narrowed her eyes. "Oh-ho, look who's coming. Come to say sorry? I believe it's a bit too late for that!" "Oh, shut it, Poppy" Britney snapped. "What has this got to do with you?!" Poppy looked shocked but her look softened. "It really didn't matter who you were adressing but... the way you said it... you made it sound like it was some form of crime..." Britney spoke, softly. "I don't hate you, if that's what you're thinking." But Soapy was already leaving. Britney watched. "It would've happened anyway" she called out. "You know it would've!" "Maybe not if you would've stayed out of other peoples business!" Jimmy yelled. Britney got up and snarled. "You wanna tangle?!" Britney screamed. Jimmy smirked and padded towards her. Oh no... no no no... Britney thought. Had he taken her literally. "I was kidding..." Jimmy frowned and then scowled. "You people are no fun, yenno that?!" he snapped, before leaving the two alone. "I'm going after her..." Britney said, slowly standing up, even though she was weak on her legs. Britney had been more than miserable these days and misery fasting had been become a problem. Poppy had tried to talk her out of it loads of times but Britney would still never eat. When she did eat, it was something very scarce, like... say... a mouse or so? Even though they didn't taste very nice... Britney ate them. "What's the point? She's only going to-!" "Oh, go laugh with your crazy pal over there!" Britney snapped, running off. Poppy stared at her ssiter before walking down, joining the group. "Make that five..." she said, over hearing Naomi. "I'm obviously not going anywhere. Britney doesn't really like me at this moment." And awkard silence fell. Jimmy over heard Dale talking and turned his head. "Make that six!" he pointed out. When Dale asked, Jimmy grinned malciously. "Well..." he said, and explained the whole thing. Poppy nodded in agreement at everything he said. Jimmy was painfully honest. He'd admit anything because he wasn't afraid fo anyone. "... and now, Britney is off chasing her" he finsihed. "Bring it on if you like, if you're mad. I'm up for a tussle." Britney chased after Soapy. "Hey, wait up!" she called out. Her head was dizzy from all the running. The fact she had eaten no food for a few days was starting to take effect. Every raindrop felt ice cold. Every step made a loud pounding sound in her head. She was starting to get tired. When she caught up with Soapy, she starting taking her pace and walked beside her. "Look..." Britney explained. "I haven't eaten for days anyway. It's just that... I'm over sensitive, but I get over it. As for Jimmy, he's just... well... it's always best to ignore him, otherwise, you get in trouble. I don't know WHAT you were thinking, looking for a fight with him!" Britney looked foward, her stomach growling painfully loud. She stumbled a few steps before resuming a steady pace. "I just think..." Britney said, softly. "I just think that... I'm better off dead. I mean... look at you. You have everything. A nice home, a wonderful owner, good friends, someone who loves you... you have no syco to take care of, you have no brother to just leave sparitcally because his owner is calling him..." She trailed off before sighing. "Then look at me. I have too many enemies to count, I've watched my mother being slaughtered before my eyes, the one and only dog I ever loved in my lifetime was murdered because of me, I have a syco for a sister, my brother has no real time for me anymore, Scott abuses his workers, which includes me, I work hard and get nothing for it, no matter what I do, it goes wrong, I'm homeless, every single friend I get, I lose..." Britney stopped. She was depressing herself. "I just think... I have nothing to live for" she said. "Don't think any of this is your fault. Besides, Poppy will get over it in no time, Dale will probably be too busy to mourn, who'll miss me when I'm gone? You'll get over it to and think about it... up there is my mother and John... I can see them again..." She smiled sadly. She walked beside Soapy, silent. "What I'm trying to say is... you have so much to lose. I don't. Because whatever I have, I lose anyway" Britney shrugged. (OOC- And there she goes, rambling on once more *rolls eyes* Poor Soapy ... this post sucks but it'll do I guess. It's not TOO bad...)

Dale grimaced at Soapy's explanation and her mood once she walked away. Well, he thought. What's bitten her? He wondered over to the other mutts and let Jimmy explain. THAT made more sense. "So... let's get this straight..." Dale said. "... nah, never mind, let's not make this straight. More to the point, WHAT... is that?" Drawing his attention to the wisp (unlike everyone else at this moment), he gave it a confused look. He had never seen anything like it. And Dale has seen a lot of things. It swam around in the air like an eel. It looked very bizarre. Very bizarre indeed. "That that... like.. dust?" Dale inquired. "Because it looks weird for dust..."

Soapy walked past the graveyard with her head hung low, shaking the water off her coat every once and a while. She had just gotten a little bit past it when she heard a voice yell 'Hey, wait up!' Soapy turned her head and saw Britney running towards her then starting to walk her pace. Her ears perked when Britney started talking, turning her head to look at her, looking sullen. Britney started telling her that she was foolish to start a fight with Jimmy, even Soapy knew that, but she cared for Nicky and wanted him to be safe. She was sick and tired of everyone wanting to kill him. First about the fact of what happened with Britney and now the fact that he was a police dog. She jolted out of her thoughts when she heard Britney say she was better off dead and that everyone who knew her would get by in time. Soapy both felt sadness and anger towards her friend as she spoke of suicide. Soapy had heard enough. She leaped in front of Britney and glared. "Don't you DARE talk like that!", Soapy snarled. "Don't you dare Britney! If you kill yourself then I might as well have Jimmy dispose of me now because once you die, I'll have no reason to live. So what if I have all those things? A home, a human, someone who loves me. All of that wont matter once you're gone because I'll be losing my best friend again. And there's no way I'd get over that. It's been two years and I'm still not over Jason. And just to let you know, you aren't losing me unless you kill yourself or start to. Britney you have so much to live for. If only you knew why. And I'm not gonna tell you. You need to figure this out on you're ow-" Soapy cut herself off as she saw a group of what looked like dogs, big black dogs with red eyes walk towards the graveyard. Her eyes bugged out of her head and she could already tell they were demons, shadows. More inky shadows. Her stomach dropped and she gave Britney a look of worry. "Britney", Soapy started. "Go back to the graveyard NOW. There are about six demon dogs heading this way and I bet they're going into the cemetery to get the others. We have to leave here and go back now. Right now". Soapy leaped over Britney's figure and ran back towards the graveyard, letting out a howl of danger to warn the others. When she reached the gate she ran inside and panted out, 'Everyone in their fighting positions, now! There's no time to explain. You'll see soon enough. Just....everyone get ready!' Soapy looked back and saw them getting closer and gasped, quickly getting into a fighting stance. "Here they come!"
(OOC-Finally this stupid writer's block is almost gone. I can't believe I had it for like 4 days. Not to mention I was also busy with other things but the point is I'm back and I finally got a spark of inspiration! And uh oh. Shadow/demon hounds. Everybody run! Also I sincerely apologize for both making you guys wait this long and for the sucky post. T'was a little rushed. )

"Look. I don't mind Nicky, I have no more against him... maybe Dale does but I dunno. Jimmy is just... strange and-!" She noticed Soapy was off reeling in her own little world. Britney often did this. As she walked beside her, her mind drifted off to a far off land... a land where she actually happy. A land where her mother wasn't killed, John was still alive and Poppy wasn't mad. A land where everything was right. If Britney could come across such a land, nothing would make her happier. And there was a land like that. A little (or maybe not so little) place called Heaven. When Britney went on in a long, drawling talk about how she wasn't worth the oxygen she was taking, Soapy cut her off immediately. When she pounced in front of her, Britney stumbled back weakly in startle and watched her, with wide frightened eyes. Every time she tried to put a word in, she couldn't. Because Soapy always made a reasonable point against what she was going to say. All she ever managed to get in was a few "buts" every now and again. When it ended, and Soapy cut herself off because she saw something, everything blocked out. Everything. Everything was tutting in shame at Britney. Or, at least, that's what she felt like. When Soapy jumped over her, Britney didn't budge. She tried to come to terms on what happened but it all seemed a fast blur. She'll have no reason to live? Ha! Soapy sure could use a good walk in Britney's paws for once. Then, only then, she may understand why. But Britney shook this thought off. When she shook her head, it made a loud rushing sound and her head got dizzy and Britney stumbled to the right. She looked behind her and tried to run. But she was getting more and more tired but the minute. Out of ALL the days, why did she have to starve today?! When Soapy returned, Jimmy narrowed his eyes and his mouth curled into a smirk. "Lookie here, she's coming back!" he laughed. "She looks serious about something" Poppy said, ignoring Jimmy altogether. "What could possibly be wrong?" When Soapy rejoined the group and explained, Poppy slowly back-tracked behind Dale. Slowly. Jimmy snarled and looked around. "Where are the stupid things? I'll tear their guts out and SHOW it to 'em!" He snarled louder and jumped around for a bit before getting down in an attack position, his fur starting to spike up wards. Poppy slowly emerged from behind her older brother. "What's going to happen?" she asked. "Well, you're most likely gonna die" Jimmy taunted, with a dark chuckle. Poppy let out a gasp in horror and tranced her steps behind Dale again. (OOC- NICKY! ;D I'll play nice this time I'm not sure about Mister Sunshine himself, Jimmy. he seems to have a mind of his own, in MY mind {if that makes any sense...}. Maybe Britney will be nicer to your other character though *shrugs* Then again, maybe not. And, SOAPY! *points at her accusingly* THAT POST DID NOT SUCK! You brought a little life back to the rp, which is good ;D If anything, MY post sucks!)

Zoey felt the sharp strike of Charlie hit her neck, and fell onto her knees. "It seems you improved." Zoey whimpered. "But so have I." With a twinkle in her eye, she snapped her fingers, and the lights began to flicker. A dark mist began to rise from the ground and encircle Charlie. "See, after I escaped the ship, badly injured, I met this medicine woman, who promised me immortality! It didn't work, and my soul was forced to wander this Earth. And wander I did. I learned some pretty powerful spells..." Itchy became worried as his friend became more and more surrounded. "Charlie!" Zoey began chanting in a strange language, but Aric perked his ears. He knew that language. It was the sacred language of his people. "Itchy," he whispered. She, he, it is trying to use a power draining spell. Go get some herbs and spices, any of them. I'll hold her off." Itchy did as told and ran back once again to the kitchen. Aric began chanting: "Alum vuch, alum vik, poig nix retond. Alum vuch, alum vik, poig nix retond." As he chanted, a blue mist descended from the roof and began to surround Zoey. "What!?" she yelled as noticed her powers weakening. The black mist was dissipating. "No! Kven howen den, kven howen den, keven howen den!" Aric and Zoey yelled their chants, trying to block one another out. Mist filled the room, and soon neither could see the other. (OOC: Oh noes! Magic! Oh well, it makes Aric usful for once And hurray for random chanting!)

(Yoy, didn't get to get online yesterday... well, here I am now!)
Charlie gasped for air as he felt both warmer and weaker. Granted this was no normal 'warmer'... this was a heat of midday in summer with no hydration warm. Charlie attempted to move closer to Jamiel/Zoey, but found he was slowed to a crawl on all fours, his movement labored by his exhaustion.
Soon enough, the magic mists covered the whole of the Flea Bite. Charlie was getting sick of this; he felt both returned strength and sapped strength. Growling from the unpleasant back-and-forth feeling, he sized up his options. He had stashed a miracle dog tag for when he needed it once more, but then again, he had the power to do almost anything with it, as long as it was not clearly an evil action. He decided to not use it just yet.
He tried to think to himself on what to do. Suddenly he got an idea. It was not too long ago that he had recently gotten a promotion of sorts, though Annabelle had called it an 'ascension in spirit'. Charlie could now evoke weak but effective enough miracles. He closed his eyes, sniffed the strange air, trying to catch Zoey's body.
Forcing himself back onto his haunches, he threw his paws into the air. Recalling some Latin, he shouted his own 'magic' words: "Flamma Offendo![/i]"
In a moment's time, a ball of white flame appeared in the air about a few feet above his shoulder. Charlie, pointing in the direction of where he sensed Zoey, called to the ball of flame, "Go!" The fireball streaked toward its target. Where ever it may hit, it would burst with a gentle explosion, sending out holy flames that could damage only the intended target. The point of this particular fireball was to only singe the body... but as a trade-off, to greatly harm the soul within. ~~~ Keith looked up, staring at the wisp to keep himself calm. "Well, sir... there was an argument amongst the others over someone named Nicky... at least I think that was his name. And no, that thing above us isn't a simple ball of dust. How can I explain...? Do you believe in ghosts? Regardless, what if I told you there was an uncommon turn of events which can make them come out into the world easier?"
Naomi nodded. "He's telling you the truth. Trust me, I'm the ps-- erm... I know what I'm talking about".
Sarai shrugged. "Nice of you to try and cover up your being psychic, Naomi..."
Naomi blinked. "What in the hey? How did you know about THAT?"
Sarai shrugged again. "Let's just say 'we' know everything..."
Naomi felt a bit uneasy. Maybe she blabbed or revealed her powers to someone this 'Sarai' knew, and told her about it? She was getting a deja vu feeling regarding the black lab... she was completely unsure of what to think of this whole situation. Luckily for her, Soapy's howl broke the deep thought. Naomi threw her senses forth to where the others had padded off... she could sense a sinister force approaching them.
"Omidays, we need to go to them. NOW" said Naomi, running off in their direction.
